  1. You miss what i am saying. Going on and on over nitpicking the rules. How a popper should be set then arguing it is not set hard enough . Because you don't shoot at every one. But you set them so they can be knocked over regardless of power factor.
  2. Arguments like this is why its hard to get new people to try USPSA.
  3. Do not recommend the SDB. I have had a few over the years. They are small and lightly built compared to a 550. With the price difference get a 550 Not a SDB. I have used my 550b as a turret press(BL550) by removing the primer system. And using the powder die from the BL. Hear is were I would purchases a 550C Free shipping no caliber conversion kit. https://www.scheels.com/p/dillon-precision-rl550c-reloading-press/60982420252.html?cgid=reloading-presses#start=2 Then get a powder die for the BL500.
  4. you will need more than a Dillon die body to use on a NON DILLON press. A Dillon powder measure. An AT500 die body.
  5. Its a non issue Issue. Ask your self this. Do any of the other manufactures of primer tube fillers require a reinforced tube? Hell the others have(all but one) you hold the tube being filled.
  6. Don't waist any more brass. Put the RCBS sizer in your press. Then inform Dillon about this .Don't forget to tell them another brand of sizer fixed your issue. It just may be that Dillon has Quite a few defective dies. If the RCBS die was doing the same thing then I would say you have a alignment problem.( Shell plate or tool head) cases not being pushed all the way into shell plate.
  7. PCC load 3.0 with the 147 PISTOL load 3.4 with the 147 I don't use 115s
  8. Again what's wrong with the lee under size die? I use RP cases and don't have the issues you are having.
  9. Go back in time 7 years and ask if you're information helps.
  10. To answer your question as asked. No. These are maid like the mr bullet feeder ones but for special needs. Contact the manufacturer with questions as hogrider said. I have a few they do what he claims.
  11. So you have a few options.,. 1 the ammo works shoot it as is. 2 determine what headstamps are causing problems. 3 only use .355 bullets. These are a few more those are the top 3.
  12. Bullseye will load them all. And usually available everywhere.
  13. Brass can and will have an effect. Bullets not being seated straight can have an effect. Mark up a failed round with a marker. See were it fails. May not be length. Note: I have to adjust crimp from jacked to coated to plated. Each has its on setting. All 3 after will have the same measurement. This has to do with spring back/reaction of brass and projectile.
  14. 3 different bullets. 3 different profiles. 3 different overall lengths. So what's so hard to understand?
  15. Never ask a question your not prepared to hear the answer to.
  16. Brass all the same head stamp? Set length with cases in every station?
  17. usually has free shipping https://www.midwayusa.com/product/939510982 just order at the correct time.
  18. Not the issue. Reread 1911s post (slowly) its a drop issue at the die not collator.
  19. ? This is a double end wad cutter . Not sure what you are trying to say.
  20. Q: Will I be able to load full wadcutters with this unit? A: Unfortunately, the system will not function properly with full wadcutters. Full wadcutters are the same diameter on each end, and because of this, the dropper unit cannot dispense individual bullets. Semi-wadcutters however, will work properly in the unit.
  21. The correct spring is $3.95 from Shooters Connection. Replace it every 5-7k rounds and your firing pin breaking will all but disappear. Have not broke a pin in 50k rounds by doing this. (hiperfire trigger)
