  1. Look up the bullets he is using.
  2. It will be some wear around 3.0gr. I have not pulled one. would start at 2.8 and adjust. Federal is loading this to psi not velocity or power factor. The charge changes from lot to lot.
  3. Mine has been on a ELS for several years . No issues at all.
  4. You know your talking about 50 ish feet per second? A change in altitude, temperature, even humidity can change power factor. Ammo that just tested 130 PF at home went 138 PF at the PCC Nationals. Personally I can not tell the difference in 130 and 135 PF while shooting on the clock.
  5. Recoil can be very subjective. As a general rule the powder that uses the lowest charge to produce the same velocity. Will have the lower recoil. This is not 100%.Remember recoil can be very subjective.
  6. What groups best . Initial test at 100y. Then test at max distance you will /can shoot. Testing at 50y is a waste of time. My junck ammo will shoot under 1/4 in at 50y.
  7. Read the description they are fore 9mm not 40S&W
  8. Can you show a link to these MBX ones ? All that I can find is there 9mm ones for PCC. They change the angle of the nose. To feed "better" in a PCC.They can be used in a pistol but that's not their intended purpose.
  9. the 510 is the most used Holosun in open.
  10. DDPs and Holosun have two different mounting patterns. If they were interchangeable I know of several people who would change from DDP to Holosun . Just to see if they would hold up.The DDPs are not.
  11. Steel challenge type match or knock down?
  12. Just thought of something that maybe you issue. This is common to all progressive presses. The larger the diameter the shell plate the more this is magnified. The plate flexes. You must have a case in every station.Through the first 10 cases back in your case feeder.Measure The next few cases. The last few cases will also very some and tend to be long.
  13. Midway has the ETS 40 round mags
  14. Tightgroup is known to "clump" in normal use. Also in a high humidity environment this will be magnified. About a year back this was discussed on hear. Some thought it was a lot issue. The clumps break up very easily. This cost three local shooters barrels in there JP PCCs. They all were running very light loads. They all have switched to Sport Pistol powder. Hornady one shot needs about 20 min for the propellant to flash off.
  15. move feeder from press to sizer install kit https://www.doublealpha.biz/us/mr-bulletfeeder-nose-down move feeder from sizer to press remove kit. until you can get a second feeder. They go on sale every year around the end of year. size/load large batches make it worth the time to change around.
  16. Switch to Hornady one shot.(pistol brass) .less effort to remove.
  17. N330 should do what you are after. N330 meters better than N340. WSF is very clean and will probably do what your after also. It may just come down to what you can get.
  18. Hogdon max load is 3.6 @1.100 for a 147gr you are safe and below starting charge starting charge is 3.2
  19. This is still available https://www.precisiondelta.com/products/black-friday-sale/40-s-w-range-brass-by-the-box/
  20. Did you read this from the first post or just at the end ?
  21. Why are you weighing these? Reloading scale is is only accurate to+/- .1gr. Brass weight will very +/-5gr. Good bullets will very +/- .5gr. Not so good will very +/- 2.0gr.
  22. When the motor is first turned on it will "torque turn". So do you have a die lock nut on the die body and one on the trimmer motor? On my set up the die lock nut had to go under the tool head. The one for the trimmer is at the top of the die locked to the trimmer motor.
