  1. I am going to try to correct a few things. High gun is titegroup. Perfect pattern is a new powder. RS Comp is the discounted Winchester AA plus. The clays line of powders are manufactured. In the old IMR plant. In Canada. Currently owed and operated by General Dynamics. That plants resources are currently. Only manufacturing military contract powders. Primary for artillery shells. The estimated time to fill that contract. Is two years.
  2. So would a smaller sight like a Holosun HS507C/Trijicon RMR or something more like HS510C/EoTech? Be a better choice. Does it even matter? Green dot vs Red ? Dot only vs Circle vs Circle with center dot? Yes I have been thinking about this for a while.
  3. A discussion about putting a red dot. On a Sporting clays gun could(would) be interesting. To me it would be a lot different than an "practical"set up.(3 gun/)
  4. Steve Y is the single worst thing on shotgun world. He needs to go. He uses that form to push his wares. ( Selling presses) tells people he is the best MEC repair man on earth. I suggest you contact Curly. I have had to in the past. Concerning Steve Y.
  5. Tell us how that works out for a lost brass match. As a matter of fact I have never got my brass back at any match.
  6. Really . Five years later you agree.
  7. Max change of red dot even with a 3/4 oz load. would be 20 grains max.
  8. I have started answering. They waist my time I waist there's. They get really pissed. when you tell them to send what ever idem they're calling you about. Especially being I don't have an Amazon account.
  9. To me the flat ones feel smoother. When cycling the slide by hand. Can not tell the difference while shooting. Yes I have booth styles.
  10. The power supply is a 12 volt transformer. ( converts 240/110 to 12 volt) My thought is it has failed . That's why I asked if it would light up or not. Know of one that failed . But it was one of the very first ones sold. 5 ish years old at that time. As memory serves part was cheep from RCBS. $10.00?
  11. My 9mm NRA conventional pistol. Is loaded with a 147 bullet and AA#7.
  12. large #20063- $43.00 Small #20062- $43.00 They are hidden quite well.

    Glock Frame Cracking

Simple If you are worried about a Glock slide or frame cracking. Don't buy a Glock. That leaves more for the rest of us.
  14. Hornady has a small diameter pin that fits the Dillon pistol dies. The flash hole is small just like 6BR rifle brass. A search if in the Dillon section will reveille the part number. If I was at home I would give you the number.
  15. I don't shot a lot of IDPA. Usually eather shoot CO or revolver. But just thinking lowering the PF for ccp. Probably is so guns like 43x , sig 365 ,etc can compete. Somewhere other than bug. Where they really don't (but do) fit.
  16. Yes you will need a spring change. You will be better off Not going down to 120 pf. With a 13 lb spring. My 19 bearly ejects 130 pf ammo. Using a 115 gr bullet. Change to a 135 gr at same power factor. Brass flies several feet.
  17. I test every target presentation that may require something special. To make sure the target is doable with a LM. Including my famous 50 yard clay on a stick. As someone else started. If you pattern your gun . There's readably available shells. That produce tighter patterns than others. There are shells that produce more open patterns. Last two years I have loaded my own. When there's any questions on a shotgun course. I will shoot first. Most can not believe how I make the long range shots. With only a LM choke. (Could be all that sporting clays that I also shoot) As a general rule. This does very from gun to gun. Winchester shells produce more open patterns. Federal tends to have tighter patterns. Remington somewhere between. Rio shells (higher velocity ones) and Benelli don't get along pattern wise. Like more open than cylinder even if using full. So pick you shell based on patterns.
  18. Your star at 30 yards is a LM target. No problems. The spinner could be an issue but still a LM choked target. Pick the correct shell. 1 1/8 ounce 7.5 shot 1200 fps. Learn how your gun works. How it patterns. Spinner is a timing shot. I am a match director. You have to challenge you shooters. Or they won't come back. Actually have a setup gun to test target setup. The star plates can be knocked down/ off . With a cylinder bore 18 inch Mossberg 500.
  19. No minimum bullet weight for pcc. To be accurate your going to have to push the velocity close to 1500 fps. But you don't really need it to be super accurate. For uspsa or steel challenge. Several national, state, regional, etc championships have been won . Using 90/100 gr bullets in a pcc.
  20. Yes . If you want to be even remotely confirmable. If anything like were I live. It will be 100% humidity during the summer, early fall, late spring. That humidity can be very detrimental to electrical components on the auto drive. The heat isn't good for long term storage of power, primers. But that takes a long time to show up.
