  1. Are you tightening the bolt with the tool head all the way down? Have you ever tightened it with the tool head up?
  2. that's why we recommend two dies .one to seat. one to crimp.
  3. If you want to seat and crimp with one die. You have to about it in a roundabout way. First back the die body out till it will not crimp. Seat 10/20 bullets into cases at your length. Then remove the seating assembly. How start lowering the die body till you get the crimp you desire. Lockdown the die. Reinstall the seating assembly using the remaining seated rounds . How try a new case to seat and crimp at the same time. It's best to use two dies but it can be done with one.
  4. Others are not reading all that has ben said. I two have had 9mm and 40 cases with same problem. it's been the brass. But the brass was very worn. Usually the rim was damaged. 38 l have never seen this. And l have a smith and wesson 52. One whole side of the case is unsupported. Makes "Glock bulge " look like a joke. If any 38 case Was going to do that it would.
  5. Time to go to mbx . The tube is probably damaged. Someone may correct me but the g2 should fit .
  6. So how could this be a alinment issue? This is a die problem. Again this is a die problem.
  7. Let's confirm this again. If you install your rcbs sizing die Wich has less lead to align the case thus requiring everything to be in perfect alinment . The problem goes away. Correct?
  8. I am sure he meant hour also. but it was pointed out to Hem and He replied multiple times.
  9. Evolution Pro fastest speed is 3500 RPH (rounds per HOUR Ammo bot Fastest speed is 4400 CPH(cycles per hour)
  10. 1200 a minute would be 72000 a hour 1300 a minute would be 78000 a hour 1200 ROUNDS A MINUTE Bull s#!t 1200/1300 rounds a Hour ok
  11. In my area .22rf is harder to find than 9mm/.223. and when you do it's just as much.
  12. FYI on a 550 station 1 size/deprime/prime station 2 expand /powder drop station 3 seat projectile station 4 crimp
  13. Square deal has propitary dies . Do not recommend for full wadcutters.
  14. I now load all 9MM on a 1050 because of primer issues.
  15. Just an option. Have used a 550 for over 30 years. Same primer system. There are primer brass combinations that requires more effort To seat the primers. This is the reason for the problem. Pay closer attention to how far the upstroke push goes. It really comes down to press Operation. Will also add most all current 9mm ammo is crimped primed. This is not the conventional crimp whe have seen in the past. You can not see it but swagging fixes it.
  16. The swage /hold down die is a expansion die. If adjusted correctly. The Mr bullet expander is an improvement. Your brass is to clean.to fix this lube your cases. This has been discussed so many times that if you go down a few Threads your going to find a nother discussion on the same subject.
  17. Thats pretty much it. smoke leading accuracy
  18. Will thank about this a while. At this time i am out of suggestions. Maybe load a little bit shorter.
  19. 1\8 less. Has to do with spring back of the brass. Let me ask this .400 or .401 ? Cz are tight chambered. Again have you shot any of these over crimped rounds? You may not have a problem. Have seen deeper lines in bullets that had /gave no issues.
  20. In the picture it's hard to tell but . The crimp is just a little bit to much. A 1\8 turn less maybe all you need. But if you don't have issues actually shooting this ammo. Load on.
  21. Shoot some of the ones that the crimp is to tight. See if they smoke or lead up. What crimp die do you have?
