Neverliked the mid beads and actually removed them from my guns that did have them. The gun cant is generally trying to get the pad in the comfortable spot on the shoulder pocket and the cant is the result. The best fix is to cant the recoil pad with an adj pad recoil pad so the pad sits in the pocket right and the gun is not canted.

Tri topping the slide saves weight and is legal. Gills, holes etc are not

Or order an IDPA box. If it fits that it fits the USPSA. It "should" fit but never know unless you check same with the gun weight. Steel guide rod and MSH, and g10 grips can push it

I use a stubby grip on my SBR but dont grip it with my hand around the grip. I shoot a thumbs forward with this setup

What if the DQ is for something physically impossible. Say the DQ was for failure to remove the finger from the trigger when doing a reload. The shooter has no mag button and and in order to drop the mag has to remove the finger from the trigger to rotate the gun in order to drop the mag. Physically there is no way to have the finger on the trigger and reload the gun.

Ya it does it with the slide closed. Believe it is getting over inserted but the mag catch sticks out on the right side. a slight pull on the mag and it goes back flush or it can be pushed flush. Dosent do it every time. If the mag is seated easily it goes in fine. If its a fast reload it does it

Having an over insertion problem recently on the 2011. Mag goes in a little far and sometimes the mag catch is sticking out the right side. Other times it isnt. Whats the fix for this new mag catch

Double star makes good stuff but they have like a teflon finish I beleive it is. It looks good and holds up very well but it dosent match the standard finish on most guns. I have built a couple guns off double star parts

I have my loader set up in a walkin closet. I mouted a cheap like 6 dollar clip on spot light I got from lowes on the wire shelf above the loader and have it shine on the shell plate. Easy to see if there is powder

The shot payload/speed or DE is kinda important since one could be lighter than the other. On cheap shells, I would go with the Federal 100 pack from walmart as they tend to work the best followed by remington, then winchester. The only difference is 9 and 7.5 shot is inside the shell 7.5 is a bigger pellet. I have seen the winchester promo loads at walmart from 7/8 oz to 1 1/8 oz

If its a table start with the rifle, I pop the beta mag in if its allowed. The rifle is in a good angle for the retrieval with that in there

The gun will function without the plunger safety. Removing the trigger safety is a no go. what would be the benefit of removing it
