Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. The Badger is quite nice. http://www.brownells.com/1/1/47609-ar-15-stablilizer-handguard-rifle-stabilizer-handguard-badger-ordnance.html
  2. Thanks, I guess well go with Stag. I could not find much info on the Double Star
  3. Hi guys, I have a couple of older H-Bars I want to convert to flat top. ( no M-4 feed ramps) It seems allot of the upper receivers are out of stock. ( Bravo Company etc) How ae the Double Star uppers? Compared to stag? Or, should I back order a "quality" part from Daniel Defence or some such. Are they that different, or are there 4 guys making them for everybody! LoL, Opine please.
  4. LRB has the best ( pricey) solution I have seen. http://www.lrbarms.com/m14receivers.html
  5. I have a scout, it's a great setup, but for irons, I too would prefer the rifle length.
  6. I never thought of that, good idea.
  7. Hi Guys, I have an M1 Super 90 that I have been practicing with to use for 3-gun. Mine has a rifle sight that is drift adjustable for windag and a front sight that appears brazed to the barrel? They are factory sights. In any case, the front sight is hard for me to "pick up" when mounting the gun, and my cheek position seems to always have the front sight above the notch (high). Are there any sights that you guys like for this Shotgun and can recommend. It seems that sight replacement would be an issue because of how the factory ones are mounted. My Rem 870 has a gold bead in a blade and is much more visible (to me) Also, the loading port on the benelli seems sharp and agressive when trying to load quickly, can anything be done to "dehorn" that area? Thanks
  8. Arghh! Thats allot of info in a few words from a Forensics guy!
  9. Thanks for the input. It is a good deal price wise ( I think), but was wondering about the application. I dont want to buy the wrong thing, because I would have to re-sell it before getting a new one. Plus, if I use a black marker on the gold ring, I am fully tactical right. . . . . .
  10. I have found a pretty good deal on a Leupold 30mm 1.5 X 5 VX-3 with the illuminated circle dot. I friend bought it for a African Rifle, and isnt using it. Would this be a good choice ($450) for a three gun rifle over say, the Burris which is more money? Or should I pass and stick with a 1X low power?
  11. HK 93, or HK 91. (BTW- the rubber brass deflector does wonders for the ejection) Both of these are relaible beyond measure, and will outlast the shooter. ( remember the ratio of Zombies to Humans, dont engage, unless absolutely necessary. The back up would be a 10/22 with a can, real quiet like....
  12. Hi Fellas, Long time lurker deciding to get into it again. I shot southern Cal action matches (pistol) in the 80's and would like to get back in the game, perhaps with three gun. I need some advice on equipment. I thought I could list what I have, and you guys could help me put together a proper load out. I really dont WANT to buy new guns to begin with So Pistols: 2nd Gen Glock 17 stock Browning Hi Power stock Colt 19ll Brown magwell etc, no comp. Shotguns: Benelli M1 Super 90 (8 shot rifle sights) Remington 870P (8 shot rifle sights, wood furniture) Rifle: 16' H-bar w/ carbine length gas, flat top. Mini Y-comp 1/9 twist M1A Scout .308 What is the logical best combination of these to start? I would think the Glock, the Benelli and the AR? Thanks in advance. I would be shooting in the southern Cal area.
  13. It has touched the four footed kind plenty on the Dark Continent. The FAL is a, well , superb rifle.
