Looks for Range

Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. The tube looks to be a choate and for a Remington 870.
  2. beautiful shotgun. so far the skeet seems pretty spread out I will try different wads.
  3. I installed a Browning a5 carrier and it helps quite a bit.
  4. Just for the occasional shotgun side match. I have two factory barrels for my 11, one is 30in. full and 26in. skeet. I can't bring my self to cut the 30 or install tubes in the skeet, so looking for a barrel maybe to cut down and put tubes in. Thanks Scott
  5. Will a savage 720 barrel work on a Remington model 11? Thanks scott
  6. What to use on bolt carrier group and bolt, slide glide or a good oil like fire clean or ewl?
  7. I bought a used m1 super 90 awhile ago,I think it is an early one because it doesn't have the cutout at the bottom of the bolt carrier. So in my quest to get it to shoot as light as loads possible, I took it all the way down removingbthe recoil spring and found it has never been removed. So what recoil are people using, factory, Wolfe or something else. From my previous post I did load some 1200 fps. 1 1/8 loads and was at a match and had a short stroke, ran sum 1400 fps and ran like a sawing machine. So I'm cleaning the tube and going to replace the spring, just wounded what everyone is using and still want to run heavy loads without beating the shotgun up. Thanks Scott P.S. taking the bolt apart for the first time the locking pin has grooves on the flats, probably causing some resistance as well.
  8. Thanks for the replies, I always wanted a ferarri I'll just learn to drive it.
  9. Like the topic says trade my m1 for 1301. I had an 1187 that would work with all loads, traded it for my m1 and have not been happy with it. It recoils more and doesn't like as light of loads. So was thinking of trading for a 1301. What is the consequences.
  10. I tried to find the discussion you talked about and can't find it under multi gun and don't see anything for 3 gun.
  11. I have been reloading shotshells for 15 years now, and I've been using Clays for 1oz. and 1 1/8 oz loads with no problems. So the other day I was looking at hodgdons reloading data for powder to load in the 1 1/4 range and was looking at sr 7625 and noticed I could use it in the lighter shot charges as well, liking the idea of having powder for mulipul uses. So my question is has anyone noticed a real differance in recoil or reliability in the lower psi loadings? Thanks Scott. Forgot to mention this is for 12ga.
  12. Thanks for the replies. I believe at the club level you should call or e-mail. I agree that the sign in pearson should check the sheet when placing the shooter in a squad, especially for a new shooter. But the way I read the rules you can go either way depending on how the RM/RO felt or the stats person when they are going through the sheets at home.
  13. At a club match what do you do if a person forgets to fill out their division ? Score them in open ? I can not find it in the rule book, all that I get from the people at my club, is I was at the nationals once and the person was scored as open. Thanks Scott
  14. Bearcave what springs are you using and what follower ? Thanks Scott
