GunBugBit
I'm fond of military movies. We Were Soldiers was quite good. It's one of the few movies that somewhat realistically portrays how Army guys actually talk to each other. The "Custer was a p***y" line delivered by Sam Elliot was priceless. I love that his weapon of choice in battle was an M1911A1. I knew a Sergeant Major or two who had personalities exactly like the one Elliot played. Many of my Army bosses were Vietnam-grizzled guys. That movie resonated with me on a deep level. Blackhawk Down is way up there for me.
Dranoel
The Professional. Luc Besson at his best. Jean Reno in the perfect role and Natalie Portman proving at 12 yrs old she is as good as any actress in Hollywood. Add in Gary Oldman as a freaky bad cop and Danny Aiello as a good gangster... How can you co wrong?

Tom S.
There have only been three movies that I have watched more than twice: Blackhawk Down, Saving Private Ryan and Full Metal Jacket. Of the three, it's hard to pick between Blackhawk Down and Saving Private Ryan for number one.

longbarrel
Gran Torino, I had a Gran Torino just like it for years and still have the M-1 Garand. I love Clint's political incorrectness. The ought six muzzle a few feet away would make you recoil in horror. "Get off my lawn"
