Looks for Range

Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. I use mine for more than three years without any problems
  2. I have loaded more than 10K rounds with S&B primers and had no problems with ignition (STI Edge .40S&W).
  3. No, everything looks fine, no any signs of wear or even heavy dust...
  4. Well, after several years of usage finally I was faced with similar problem. But in my case tumbler switching off by itself after few minutes of work, even if only media (no cases inside) is loaded. I guess it's related with overheating because of dry bearings. But dissembling is a real headache. Can somebody give me a hint how to remove hot glued springs, where to put the oil and how to glue springs back in proper way? Thanks a lot in advance
  5. Water bottle drill is good, agree. Another trick which I practice is putting an empty case on the very end of the slide (just next to front sight) and moving in various directions.
  6. According international IPSC rules (p 8.3.3) proper timing is between 1 and 4 seconds.
  7. It's true. Some ranges has such reguirements because they are situated very close to living areas. However any decreased safety angles (e.g. vertical) must be announced before start of the match.

Taken yesterday on the range ...
  9. I'm not seeing the compensator or dot, sorry. This looks no different than many ipsc standard guns have for years. Hell, I don't even have fiber glowing on the front end. LOL At my local matches I run the slide racker only. Every stage, someone RO'ing has to ask me about the racker. All I say is, "Show me in writing where the racker isn't legal. Go ahead, I'll wait." Crickets..chirp, chirp. Nobody reads the rule book. Reminds of tests where a professor will specifically say in the instructions to skip a specific problem, but everyone does it, LOL. Not sure about USPSA rules, but in IPSC this gun will be in OPEN division for sure. Just for one single reason - it doesn't fit the box ...
  10. My vote goes to Brazos MicroDot too ...
  11. Better ask RO on the stage about best time in your division. At least you will know the best achieved HF on that moment
  12. Here's the interesting article: http://www.matsbackstrom.com/Equipment/thumbrest.html
