Looks for Range

Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. The last time I cleaned it- a week ago I noticed what looked like a short hair line going across the area where the primer hits the breach face. I ran a stainless dental pick across it and it would hang up in it. I wasn't sure if it was a scratch or a crack, it's very small and doesn't show up when I take a pic of it. I'll just keep a eye on it. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G870A using Tapatalk
  2. Flat primers but no other signs on the primer. 6500 rounds on this slide. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G870A using Tapatalk
  3. I'm using federal small pistol, match grade small pistol, and some cci small pistol primers. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G870A using Tapatalk
  4. Do you take the comp off to clean it? the crud in the comp is hard as a rock.
  5. I have just started seeing a ring around the firing pin hole and one small pit in my 9 major open gun. Is there any particular primer that deals with primer flow better than others?
  6. I chose 9 major so I could pick up brass at every stage and it wasn't just my particular brass. 38 super guys look like they are looking for needles in a hay stack. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G870A using Tapatalk
  7. Get a chronograph, first. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G870A using Tapatalk
  8. I would say most of mine look like #3 or 4. I try only shoot the 9major brass once in the open gun, but still will load minor in it. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G870A using Tapatalk
  9. Yes, just crimp enough to take the bell/flare out of the brass. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G870A using Tapatalk
  10. Yep, your there. Go buy a chronograph in the morning, seriously. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G870A using Tapatalk
  11. I've never had a primer that wasn't flattened from my 9major. I started with load data from someone that I bought the gun from. I check the powder charge and oal more often when I load 9major ammo. I also check the powder charge with balance scales and digital scales.
  12. What is the difference between the grams S2 and the S92? Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G870A using Tapatalk
  13. I only see the inserts for 38 & 40. I shoot 9 major, will the insert work for 9? Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G870A using Tapatalk
  14. Ok best place to get 140 mm springs and followers. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G870A using Tapatalk
