  1. The last time I cleaned it- a week ago I noticed what looked like a short hair line going across the area where the primer hits the breach face. I ran a stainless dental pick across it and it would hang up in it. I wasn't sure if it was a scratch or a crack, it's very small and doesn't show up when I take a pic of it. I'll just keep a eye on it. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G870A using Tapatalk
  2. Flat primers but no other signs on the primer. 6500 rounds on this slide. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G870A using Tapatalk
  3. I'm using federal small pistol, match grade small pistol, and some cci small pistol primers. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G870A using Tapatalk
  4. Do you take the comp off to clean it? the crud in the comp is hard as a rock.
  5. I have just started seeing a ring around the firing pin hole and one small pit in my 9 major open gun. Is there any particular primer that deals with primer flow better than others?
  6. I chose 9 major so I could pick up brass at every stage and it wasn't just my particular brass. 38 super guys look like they are looking for needles in a hay stack. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G870A using Tapatalk
  7. Get a chronograph, first. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G870A using Tapatalk
  8. I would say most of mine look like #3 or 4. I try only shoot the 9major brass once in the open gun, but still will load minor in it. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G870A using Tapatalk
  9. Yes, just crimp enough to take the bell/flare out of the brass. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G870A using Tapatalk
  10. Yep, your there. Go buy a chronograph in the morning, seriously. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G870A using Tapatalk
  11. I've never had a primer that wasn't flattened from my 9major. I started with load data from someone that I bought the gun from. I check the powder charge and oal more often when I load 9major ammo. I also check the powder charge with balance scales and digital scales.
  12. What is the difference between the grams S2 and the S92? Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G870A using Tapatalk
  13. I only see the inserts for 38 & 40. I shoot 9 major, will the insert work for 9? Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G870A using Tapatalk
  14. Ok best place to get 140 mm springs and followers. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G870A using Tapatalk
  15. I may have pushed to many in past the lower ribs. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G870A using Tapatalk
  16. The first 800 rounds without a hicup, then this weekend both 140's crap put. I don't think the diameter has changed. I think I stuffed to many in there, weak springs, worn follower. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G870A using Tapatalk
  17. Your prob. right, I put 25 rounds in it during the match, but when I practice I usually just put 20 in. After each stage it messed up when I picked up the mag, there were 1-2 rounds stuck under the follower.
  18. First time this has ever happened to me, during a match sat. My open gun mag spring was hung up and the follower was stuck at the bottom of the mag. This happened to 2 140 mm mags. Rounds were getting under the follower. What's wrong, needs new spring, follower?
  19. Started in IDPA CDP, then ssp, revolver, esp. US Steel challenge. USPSA production, then limited. 3 gun tac.optics. now uspsa open and idpa ccp. A different gun, match and class every weekend. I like to shoot all of them.
  20. If possible shoot both of them before you buy. I started with a STI and it's awesome, but the cz is to. 9 major is the way to go, it's easy, cheap and is everywhere.
  21. Automatic accuracy in Conway Arkansas for any custom work on a CZ.
  22. That's what I'm looking for.
