I’d say the John Wick and Bourne movies are probably the ones highest on my list. I mean I probably have a favorite in each genre but just can’t name one my favorite amongst them all. davsco Posted February 20, 2020 Share Posted February 20, 2020 not sure if i've replied earlier and if so what i picked... but, 'act of valor' i think is my favorite. there wasn't a bad or boring scene in the whole movie. rescuing the cia lady was absolutely incredible. as well as seeing those guys jump out of a plane and then board a sub in the middle of the ocean. maybe in my next life... Western- The Outlaw Josey Whales War- Saving Private Ryan Honorable mention- Full Metal Jacket (Gunny Made it Great) Sci Fi- The Matrix Comedy- Trading Places, although the list of great ones is long. Robert Duval's character was loosely based on what Col David Hackworth did in Viet Nam. Col Kurtz was based on Hackworth too!
