Why not use a TLR1 or X300? Safariland makes a ton of holsters that would work for that if it's a duty type holster

Generally break down and clean it every 1500 rounds or so, add lube periodically between cleanings if looking dry

Those are great looking guns but never have had a chance to shoot one just yet. Afraid to do so as they may end up multiplying after that

My biggest issues (not even a big issue though) with IDPA are that I can't use my actual carry gear (AIWB holster and mag pouch) and in battery reloads are penalized. I don't see it as defense training whatsoever though, just a chance to work on skills. I still play along and just use strong side IWB though as IDPA is the only weeknight option around here

Seem to be somewhat random with the factory spring. I think it's a good practice to just go ahead and replace the stock one with the Cajun trigger pin and spring. Keep the factory one as a backup for a match bag

I would get the basic Bladetech holster that is IDPA legal
