thormx538
I just did load testing this weekend and settled on 3.9g of N320 with DG Bullets 124gr RN at 1.135" for my Legion SD was about 7 and made 128.5PF at 17deg F so it should be fine. I preferred 147s with the regular X5 but the 124s with the tungsten grip. There was no discernible difference on the timer -- just feel in the hand. Lesliet
Worked up a load over this weekend for my X5 legion that seems to be working well. 135 grain SNS poly-coated round nose over 4.5 grains Silhouette, coal of 1.115. Chrono between 950 and 980, so PF is between 128 and 132. I'm new to the reloading game, so working on consistency! I haven't tested the accuracy specifically, yet, as I was in a bit of a rush the second time at the range Sunday. It certainly seemed like it had "good enough" accuracy, for zapping plates, anyway. No failures with this load out of a test batch of 100, gun cycled perfectly every time. 4.2 grains was too soft, and I was getting a lot of stovepipes and failures to cycle. Chrono numbers for 4.2 grains were around 850. Now I just need to find a way to data log that doesn't involve pen and paper...

Double taps just stack up at 10 yds. 1911 SS Springer guide rod and 12 lb spring with 147 Xtremes and 13 lb with Blue bullets and 124 Xtremes. Have you tried TG with the 147 xtreme? Akkid17
Recently been playing around with 147’s and with the legion and I noticed a massive improvement in accuracy going to zero 147 JHP. I’m using 3.9gr of AutoComp for now but and going to do some testing with shooters world clean shot since it’s done so well with the 125’s and my 40 cal 180’s. current recipe: Zero 147gr JHP AutoComp: 3.9gr OAL: 1.125”

Thanks, BC Been a while since this request was made. This is the load currently used: 2.9 grains of Vit N320 147 grain Blue Bullets Truncated Cone 1.115 Overall Length Winchester Small Rifle or Federal Small Pistol Magnum primers Makes 130-132 power factor and still shoots soft. The dot in Carry Optics stays within the target through recoil. Was fairly accurate out of the stock Sig barrel. Changed to the BarSto barrel with the 1:16 twist rate versus the 1:10 of the Sig and accuracy improved.
