ParaGunner
Hard to tell from that pic. I know after he left Para he was supposed to come out with his own pistol designs. It looks like a para frame with the round trigger guard and the older DP Ice para magwell. Edited June 22, 2011 by Roy Hess
Chris Keen
I don't know but I'm glad to see TJ rocking the C-More Serendipity model. Too many people make 2-sided mounts out to be a "problem" and act like the 1-sided mount is "the only way to go", but I've been shooting a Serendipity for 5 years (more or less) and it's never been an issue for me. Apparently I am NOT alone!
Supermoto
Might be a Al Zitta built gun
Aircooled6racer
Hello: That may be a pistol he has had for 15 years or more. Thanks, Eric
AZGunut
That's his steel challenge gun. Schuemann tribrid barrel, Serendipity, etc. I have a similar build on a STI. Great shooting gun for soft steel loads.
Jack T
That is his 9mm "Steel Gun". Jack
twodownzero
TJ beat everyone with a gun he built for steel? He's definitely still got it!
GTOSHootr
TJ beat everyone with a gun he built for steel? He's definitely still got it! That is an Al Zitta built steel challenge gun. TJ's USPSA open gun is the same Dawson built gun he's shot for years.
shooterbenedetto
No lead build up on that since there's no comp!
want2race
The muzzle of the barrel looks odd. Like a blast attenuator. If it's a 9mm, that exit hole looks like it's .50". The case looks bigger than 9mm but it could be because it's blurred. Any pics of it with the slide closed? I built and tested a barrel with a built in blast attenuator last year. pvhendrix
The last I saw, except for Todd's Limited guns, his Open (major) and Steel (minor) guns are loaded using 38TJ brass. But I could be wrong.
rishii
The muzzle looks like a hybicomp barrel that had the threads milled off To save weight The muzzle does look bigger than a super, maybe for the same reason
usmc1974
I think it is one of his para super's case looks to long for a 9mm.
splashdown
My first thought was IPSC Modified division. Short gun, short mags, 40 brass? But then, I don't keep track of who's shooting what so I don't even know if that's a remote possibility for TJ.
dirty whiteboy
I believe the late Tommy Abernathy built some guns for Todd. May be one of his builds.
bbncu
here's a clearer picture...it is his "steel challenge gun" is that a comp?
GTOSHootr
It is in .38TJ and built by Al Zitta. If you go to Facebook and "Like" Todd's page you can post a question and Todd would probably tell you about the gun. Sean Gaines
here's a clearer picture...it is his "steel challenge gun" is that a comp? I know what that is on the end of his barrel, Its a hose quick connect to cool his barrel down, when he is giving those strike force classes, where he wastes 1k rounds downrange, to show that his gun won't jam, while his students reloads his mags for him! want2race
Thanks for the new pic. It does appear to be a threaded hybrid comp with the threads (and a little more material) removed. It actually does like like a QD hose connector.
bbncu
Found the comp...

Foxbat
Is that a protective ring on his left index finger?
want2race
Top picture looks like a standard bore, bottom picture is a different barrel with a much larger exit hole.
