  1. "worth" is subjective. Its as good as any STI/Staccato pistol I own though.
  2. I direct mounted a 507Comp on my 226 X-5 Legion, no issue but I did have filler plate on it way when I did it. I did end up putting on the filler plate just to fill the small gaps in front of the optic.
  3. Removed the sights ( they where the large tactical ones) and shave down the right thumb safety.
  4. Waiting for my XC to get back from Staccato. (Keyholing like crazy) but ended up getting this to fit the box.
  5. Helping out the Brother-in-Law post up this match --- This year’s Rocky Mountain 3-Gun offers 9 stages of natural terrain where we strive to make it one of the premier 3-Gun action matches in the world. This match has one of the largest numbers of junior competitors of any 3-Gun match and attracts many of the top national shooters from the 3-Gun community, IPSC, IDPA, and PPC. This match has been featured on Shooting USA, Shooting Gallery, and American Trigger Sports Network. For this match we have dedicated ROs as well as match and medical staff. Round count is 400+ of rifle, pistol, and birdshot, and don't forget to bring at least 6 slugs! Modified Division added for the 2024 year. https://practiscore.com/keltec-presents-rocky-mountain-3-gun-clone-1/register
  6. There is a Local IDPA BUG match I would like to shoot with my STI Rogue, my only issue is it only ever came with 1 magazine. Does anyone know where I can source STI 9mm Rogue Mags from? These seem not to exist anymore.
  7. Nordic components use to make a PCC that had adaptors that allowed you to use 2011 magazines, I don't know if these ever came to light or was just concept.
  8. Depends, if I'm not in a dusty area I usually just do a quick wipe off when I reload them. If its in a area of Moondust or mud then more then likely i'm taking the mag apart or throw the mag in my bag to clean at a later time.
  9. Boom, you answered it yourself. Honestly I've been trying to get away from Halographic sights myself, mostly because I wanted something that didn't have the large outer ring. But everytime I put on a reddot optic on my PCC I just don't shoot it as fast as the UH-1.
  10. I probably have over 6 JP barreled / rebarreled rifles now. I've done the break in process once on the first rifle I bought from them. Since? na
  11. Correct, with the removal of 8.5.1.17 from the new rule book, I wonder if now 8.5.1.10 would prevent this holster from being used. I would rather not drop another $100+ on a holster just for IDPA but would like to use the same holster I use for every other shooting sports.
  12. I find at least locally we have a good amount of fair weather shooters that shoot IDPA. During the warmer days we see matches fill up like crazy +50 shooter vs the moment temps drop under 60s we'll get less then 50-75% participation. With USPSA shooter it usually have to get pretty nasty for people not to show up to match.
  13. Are you able to take a video of the issue? It can be as something as simple as a loose extractor to the bolt is overrunning.
  14. Ooft.. I just should had this question here rather on a IDPA Facebook group.. Question can I use my GX vice holster in IDPA, yes /no? And if I cannot what is the rule cited that prevents it.
  15. Looks like they cleaned up the Compensator / ported barrel rule for ESP/CO A.2.3 ESP Permitted Modifications A.2.3.2 Compensated and ported barrels that are incorporated into the firearm.
  16. Nope, you will need to take the magwell off to even lock it in.
  17. I shot a Athena and Titan side by side before I chose the RDS titan. With the Athena I feel like the reddot stabilized a bit faster when the slide was forward after a shot, but snappier on recoil. The Titan was pretty much what I expected from a 5 inch 2011. I Didn't feel like the "faster" settling reddot as so much a advantage when shooting at speed vs having a little softer recoiling gun.
  18. CZ shadow 2 Compact weighs less then 31oz, so you have plenty room to play with optics and heavier grips if wanting.
  19. So earlier this year I slapped a Full Power DBAL2 on my JP5. When you go full power red laser during the day you don't want to go back. But with that said the only time I even used it was when I had to shoot weak shoulder, I never found it a issue needing to use it on "hard" leans I just never did as I can usually get on the reddot itself pretty easy. Using a laser to cheese the first target at the start is ok but the problem is very rarely do you just only have 1 target to shoot, now you are messing around shooting the first target from the belt and you got to decide do you try to shoot the next one from the belt with the laser or should you just mount the PCC to your shoulder at that point. I've never found it practical to use the laser then switching to the shoulder in those situations and it was always better to just get it shouldered right off the beginning. If your close enough to a target that you can use the laser your also close enough to rip 2 shots under a .5 from shouldering the rifle too, how much time do you think you really saved with the laser? .1-.2 secs? Also fun fact, when I shot a local match a year or so back there was talks about if they should DQ a PCC shooter using a laser. Situation was he shot a pretty close starting target from the hip but due to the angle the rounds actually never hit the back berm, I'm not sure what happen to that situation but just food for thought.
  20. For myself, Absolute co-witness (1.4ish) is to low for any style of shooting while standing. Lower 1/3 (1.5ish) is fine for all reddots that I've used and most scope as long as it doesn't give me to much eyebox shadow. I've done a couple of 1.93s mounts now and I'm starting to switch my scopes to that height, but I feel its a bit to high for reddots for me. For my JP5 currently I'm just running a Lower 1/3s setup that the UH1 already has built in for.
  21. After doing some research I don't think its going to work. Staccato P without thread barrel is 8 to 8.1 inches in length. PMM comp is 1 inch. In comparison the XC is 8.4 to 8.5 inches in length. So I might end up going with a C2 and see if They'll swap out to a full size grip instead of the compact one.
  22. Looking to see if anyone here has fitted a Staccato P with a ported comp (either PMM or Dawson) inside the CO box for IDPA? What are your results?
  23. I just use a 15 yard zero and just know how to hold the dot at a headbox at 25yards+
  24. I think we are seeing a lot of Atlas in are area for a few reasons. One Atlas has a exclusive deal with Scheels as a distributor and most of the time the prices for them are even a little better at Scheels then you would get on Atlas website. Also they are mostly available to buy that day or if you are looking for a certain Atlas that isn't at the store you could call a different Scheels and have it shipped within a day. I called the WA store that had a Titan RDS and had them shipped to the Colorado store and had it within 3 days.
