  1. Don’t forget to put a little drop of oil into the underside of the trigger bar (channel) where the spring rides along.
  2. The stock 2 and canik uses a slightly bigger diameter trigger pin compared to the shadow 2. CGW accidentally sent me. canik trigger pin when I ordered mine and I was surprised when it wasn’t going in until I read the tag on the plastic bag it came with and it says, “Canik trigger pin”. for slave pin, get a broken drill bit measuring .086” or use the hammer retaining pin. It’s the same size.
  3. I clean mine and then spray it with dry graphite lube. No problems whatsoever and the dry lube doesn’t attract dirt.
  4. If the stock bushing is already tight and the barrel to slide lockup is nice, adding the accubushing might not give you a significant improvement from stock. Same thing goes with CGWs bushing. If the initial fit is already nice, adding the CGW bushing won’t yield significant improvement as well. On the flip side of it, if the initial barrel, stock bushing and slide lock up is not great, then adding the accubushing or CGW bushing will yield discernable/significant improvement from stock setup.
  5. Most of the times, it’s about the Indian and not the arrow.

    CZ TS Holster

This. That’s why sending a picture of my gun to them took out the guesswork on what insert block I needed. I didn’t have to modify the czechmate insert block for my 2018 TSO. The people at CED were very helpful.

    CZ TS Holster

Send them a picture of your gun showing the trigger guard and they’ll let you know exactly which insert will work. I have to do that for my TSO. I initially ordered the TSO insert but it didn’t work. I called them and they told me to send a picture of my gun. Apparently, my new TSO has the older trigger guard so it requires the czechmate insert block.
  8. TSO. It’s heavy but balanced and the grips fit my hand very well. Since installing a better(wider) thumb rest, it just feels right out of the draw. i also have the Czechmate and shadow 2 but the TSO is the winner for me.
  9. I’m using 4.1 Grs of Winchester 231 right now. That’s what I had available when I bought the Czechmate so I used that for the range test. Once I get my HS6 powder, I’ll be loading and testing that with 115 Gr JHP from RMR reloading.
  10. Did you clean and lube it prior to your first range trip?
  11. Too much nuking on this subject. The horse has already been beaten to death a thousand times.
  12. It’s most likely the mags then. Have you tried shooting with the stock mag configuration at all? How about trying that first?
  13. Does that round rotate freely and drop out of the barrel when you did the plunk test? If not, then the rounds are too long and failed the plunk test. I just got my Czech mate and I didn’t have any problems with it. Granted I shoot my reloads with an OAL of 1.102” which I also shoot in my shadow 2 and TSO. I also cleaned and lubricated the cm prior to my first range session. heres mine when I was swapping around the cmore and CZC mounts to check if they fit the TSO and vice versa in which the did.
  14. The DAA competition belt will be too thick. I have a shooters connection belt and it’s thinner compared to my DAA premium and competition belts.
  15. I don’t decide what recoil spring weight I’ll use based only on the ejection rate of the cases. I focus more on the reliability and how much muzzle rise/flip or lack thereof to get me back quickly on target for faster target reacquisition. I also tailor it to my loads and as of right now, the 10# springs works well with my 130pf reloads.
  16. Thanks. It’s a sidewinder slide racker from shooters connection. Sidewinder slide racker
  17. 10# with tungsten guide rod in my X5.
  18. Plus reduced power firing pin spring
  19. Great video. It really entices anyone who watches it to buy one.
  20. The measurement I posted was from the top of the slide to the top of the sight which was .232” or 5.893mm.
  21. It’s just a matter of time until she figures out that the JP is better. Once she asks you if she can try it, you know what will happen next ?. Then you can buy a better one for yourself.
  22. I measured .232” on my shadow 2 front sight.
  23. I don’t have any problems using CCI primers on my shadow 2 with 11.5# hammer spring, extended firing pin and reduced power firing pin spring. I do make sure the primers are seated very well.
