  1. Get Ben Stoeger or Anderson’s book on dry fire and learn from it. It’s a lot better to start learning the processes correctly to maximize your benefits. I got Ben’s dry fire and skills and drills book and I had been using it for my dry fire and Live Fire routine.
  2. What’s your crimp? Can you post a pic of the round? You shouldn’t have any problems with that OAL. Might be brass bulge or crimp that’s keeping it from feeding it all the way in.
  3. Yup. Just went to the website and saw it. Edited previous post for correct info. Thanks.
  4. Theres no difference. Either one works well. It’s personal preference.
  5. Go with the race master mag pouches.
  6. Another vote for DAA. I’m using a race master holster on a DAA belt.
  7. You have to practice a lot to prevent it from happening. I shoot with both eyes open using either left or right hand but I don’t see double targets even when transitioning from target to target. My only problem is my vision. I’m far sighted. Other than that, I have always shot with both eyes open.
  8. What’s your current OAL? I’m using truncated cone flat point bullets for my shadow 2, TSO and czechmate and had to load them short at around 1.102” oal. Remember, CZ’s were designed for the ball ammo which are the only available ammo in Eastern Europe where the guns are manufactured. So anything but ball ammo had to be loaded short unless your barrel had been reamed.
  9. Dude, it’s out of stock right now. Besides, that’s what I have mounted on my czechmate in the picture I posted above if you were paying attention instead of posting it in bold.
  10. Yup. Not blurry at all because my focus is on the target and not on the dot.
  11. Yes. In fact, for my prescription shooting glasses, my dominant eye uses a 1.0 lens so I can see the front sight clearly while my non dominant eye uses plano or non magnified lens for distant vision so I can see the target clearly.
  12. I didn’t need to wear my prescription glasses when shooting with a red dot. However, I needed it when shooting with iron sights.
  13. Yes. Right across the outlet mall. It cost around $200 a year. You don’t need to be a LEO to join. saltwater shooting club is a nice one too. I like their long range rifle range for PRS.
  14. Just buy the czechmate mount then drill and tap holes holes for the venom on it. I know it’ll look like ass with a small red dot on a big mount but it beats waiting for an out of stock item. I was lucky to buy one of those mounts when it was still available. Heres a pic of the CZ Custom mount and Vortex viper when I tried it on my Czechmate and then installed the Cmore into the TSO to see if it fits. Both fit perfectly and they’re interchangeable.
  15. That’s too much crimp. Loosen up your crimp die. You should set your crimp die to just remove the belling or flare or around .377”.
  16. You can goto Gateway rifle and pistol club on Jacksonville’s west side and become a member for $130 a year plus $80 indoc fee for the first year for unlimited use of the facility. After the first year, annual renewal is $130. There are dedicated pistol bays you can setup and use for practicing for uspsa and idpa or steel challenge. You can do rapid fire and draws from these pistol bays and shoot pcc too. im a member of this club and do my live fire practice once a week. I also shoot my rifles here. They have multiple rifle range up to 200 yards. The club house also sells reloading stuff and ammo and fairly competitive prices. In fact, their assortment of powders are a lot cheaper compared to stores such as academy sports and other online stores. It’s pretty much a straight shot from your place going through I-95 north then to I-295. You can also become a member of the Fraternal Order of Police shooting range and shoot there pretty much 24 hours. Once you become a member, you’ll be given a membership card that’ll enable you to open the gate using the magnetic strip on your card to access the place anytime you want too. There are lights to let you shoot at night. There are also cabanas and electric fans on these cabanas to alleviate the heat and humidity during these hot summer months.
  17. Yes and even fits my new czechmate. It’s a drop in, no mods or fitting required. Picture of shadow 2 extended safety installed in my TSO.
  18. Or better yet, spend 3k on a pair of shooting glasses so you won’t feel bad looking through your 3k scope.
  19. Don’t forget to put a little drop of oil into the underside of the trigger bar (channel) where the spring rides along.
  20. The stock 2 and canik uses a slightly bigger diameter trigger pin compared to the shadow 2. CGW accidentally sent me. canik trigger pin when I ordered mine and I was surprised when it wasn’t going in until I read the tag on the plastic bag it came with and it says, “Canik trigger pin”. for slave pin, get a broken drill bit measuring .086” or use the hammer retaining pin. It’s the same size.
  21. I clean mine and then spray it with dry graphite lube. No problems whatsoever and the dry lube doesn’t attract dirt.
  22. If the stock bushing is already tight and the barrel to slide lockup is nice, adding the accubushing might not give you a significant improvement from stock. Same thing goes with CGWs bushing. If the initial fit is already nice, adding the CGW bushing won’t yield significant improvement as well. On the flip side of it, if the initial barrel, stock bushing and slide lock up is not great, then adding the accubushing or CGW bushing will yield discernable/significant improvement from stock setup.
  23. Most of the times, it’s about the Indian and not the arrow.
