  1. I had been using springer precision’s tungsten guide rod with Wilson 10# recoil springs (since I got an assortment of springs from my 1911s) with my 128-130 PF reloads. No problems whatsoever though the casing just dribble out from the gun. Nonetheless, the gun shoots flat and gets back on target.
  2. I had been using these bullets for a few months now and very pleased with the results on my Shadow 2 and TSO. They are very accurate. I’m loading them using 4.1 Gr of Winchester 231 and WSP @ 1.102 OAL.
  3. Max Michel tips in reloading.
  4. Start with the Burkett drill to get your index between the mag and magwell. Then practice, practice and practice some more.
  5. Yes. The original was staked that’s why it’s tight. The new one needs to have the red loctite about 1/8” from the end to keep it in place thereby not needing to be staked.
  6. You definitely need to do some grinding to fit the disco prepoerly so DA will drop as designed. Go slow and little by little. It doesn’t take much to mess it up. Take off some, install and test and repeat as necessary. Good luck.
  7. Youll be fine with either one of them. It’s a personal choice.
  8. Mo, welcome to the forum. What took you so long to join? ?

    Shadow 2 Safeties

Yes it does. Replace the stock safety spring with Perman spring and you’re good to go.

    P320 X5 Thread

I canceled my order since I haven’t received any shipping notification a week after ordering. It saved me money since I had been shooting with my shadow 2 and TSO more than the X5 anyway.
  11. What reloading machine are you using? Make sure you are seating your primers properly. If they are seated high, you’ll have light primer strikes like you’re experiencing.
  12. That’s normal. It’ll loosen up a little bit after awhile.
  13. Buy the czechmate slide pin. It actually comes stock with the Czech mate. That thumb rest was designed for that as yigal has posted.
  14. It does if you mount it like the way I did. However, it’ll be a little bit forward if you mount it one screw hole forward so you’ll have the pad situated on the middle screw hole.
  15. The point is having fun with it.
  16. I like the AR thumb rest. However, I can’t use it with my RHT holster. Once I receive my Race master holster, I’ll be installing and using the AR thumb rest. I like the angle because it doesn’t place my support thumb too far forward. Plus it doesn’t interfere with the slide stop. Side by side with the stock thumb rest.
  17. I only shoot it for local 2 gun competition. I can shoot it major if I want to since I can reload for it but not right now. I’m concentrating more I production using my shadow 2 and my Dillon is currently setup for it.
  18. There’s plenty of room for the zig racker. It was my original plan but I opted for the cheaper sidewinder.
  19. Don’t you already have a full-sized steel guide rod on your TSO? My 9mm TSO came with steel guide rod. Just shoot it stock for a little bit and then do the mods as you see fit.
  20. It’s kept in place by setscrews. The optic mount is from CZC with a Romeo 1. I don’t use it for CO but for 2 gun.
  21. Agree. However, it’s high enough to not interfere with my strong hand thumb.
