This. That’s why sending a picture of my gun to them took out the guesswork on what insert block I needed. I didn’t have to modify the czechmate insert block for my 2018 TSO. The people at CED were very helpful.

Send them a picture of your gun showing the trigger guard and they’ll let you know exactly which insert will work. I have to do that for my TSO. I initially ordered the TSO insert but it didn’t work. I called them and they told me to send a picture of my gun. Apparently, my new TSO has the older trigger guard so it requires the czechmate insert block.
  3. TSO. It’s heavy but balanced and the grips fit my hand very well. Since installing a better(wider) thumb rest, it just feels right out of the draw. i also have the Czechmate and shadow 2 but the TSO is the winner for me.
  4. I’m using 4.1 Grs of Winchester 231 right now. That’s what I had available when I bought the Czechmate so I used that for the range test. Once I get my HS6 powder, I’ll be loading and testing that with 115 Gr JHP from RMR reloading.
  5. Did you clean and lube it prior to your first range trip?
  6. Too much nuking on this subject. The horse has already been beaten to death a thousand times.
  7. It’s most likely the mags then. Have you tried shooting with the stock mag configuration at all? How about trying that first?
  8. Does that round rotate freely and drop out of the barrel when you did the plunk test? If not, then the rounds are too long and failed the plunk test. I just got my Czech mate and I didn’t have any problems with it. Granted I shoot my reloads with an OAL of 1.102” which I also shoot in my shadow 2 and TSO. I also cleaned and lubricated the cm prior to my first range session. heres mine when I was swapping around the cmore and CZC mounts to check if they fit the TSO and vice versa in which the did.
  9. The DAA competition belt will be too thick. I have a shooters connection belt and it’s thinner compared to my DAA premium and competition belts.
  10. I don’t decide what recoil spring weight I’ll use based only on the ejection rate of the cases. I focus more on the reliability and how much muzzle rise/flip or lack thereof to get me back quickly on target for faster target reacquisition. I also tailor it to my loads and as of right now, the 10# springs works well with my 130pf reloads.
  11. Thanks. It’s a sidewinder slide racker from shooters connection. Sidewinder slide racker
  12. 10# with tungsten guide rod in my X5.
  13. Plus reduced power firing pin spring
  14. Great video. It really entices anyone who watches it to buy one.
  15. The measurement I posted was from the top of the slide to the top of the sight which was .232” or 5.893mm.
  16. It’s just a matter of time until she figures out that the JP is better. Once she asks you if she can try it, you know what will happen next ?. Then you can buy a better one for yourself.
  17. I measured .232” on my shadow 2 front sight.
  18. I don’t have any problems using CCI primers on my shadow 2 with 11.5# hammer spring, extended firing pin and reduced power firing pin spring. I do make sure the primers are seated very well.

Get a box cutter and cut the fiber in the middle then pull it out. Or, you can go to Dawson Precision’s website and check out their videos in replacing the fiber. You can also buy the green fiber from them. There’s no need for you to buy a new sight, you just need the fiber which is very cheap. They’re sold in amazon too.just make sure it’s the same diameter as the old one.
  20. Between the coated bullets I have used (blue, acme, precision, BBI), acme was the most accurate on my shadow 2 and TSO. I was loading it with 4.1 Gr of Winchester 231 @1.102” OAL. However, I have since switched over to RMR 124 Gr truncated cone flat points and they’re as accurate as the acme on my guns.
  21. By the way, the CM upper also fits into the TSO lower without any problems at all. Same with the TSO upper fitting nicely into the CM lower. The only minor difference between the two is the front of the trigger guard. The CM trigger guard has a thinner front profile compared to the TSO which makes it wobble more when inserted into a race master holster. Top and side mount clearance
