  1. The new X-treme cases don’t have a step inside. I have a bunch of them that I loaded for practice rounds. The Maxxtraxx headstamp do have the step/ledge inside the case and I just toss them when I sort my cases by headstamp.
  2. Try adjusting the overtravel screw. It probably need to be adjusted since you installed a new disco or the disco needs some minor fitting itself.
  3. Congrats on your new shadow 2. You can get the DA/SA trigger pull down by using a 13 or 11# hammer spring and polishing the internals using professor Atlas’ polishing tutorial. That’s what I did on mine and I was able to get my DA down to 5# 3.4 ozs and SA down to 1# 9.9 ozs.
  4. Stock main spring for me. I tried the lighter spring that came with my gun but I didn’t like the mushiness of the trigger.
  5. Yeah and their putting the shadow 2 extended safety on the TSO too. https://www.czub.cz/en/produkty/pistole/competition/cz-75-ts-orange.html
  6. Most people I have seen but new brass for reloading are bench rest shooters looking for consistency for their loads. Some 38 super guys buy new brass from starline since it not a lot of people shoot them around here.
  7. I spray the inside of my mags with dry graphite lube after cleaning them. It’s the same lubricant I use on my mountain bike chains. Dust and dirt doesn’t adhere to the dry lube as much as it does to regular lubricants.

    P320 X5 Thread

I’m using a 10# Wilson combat spring with my reloads. Reloads are 124 Gr FMJ truncated cone with 4.1 Gr Winchester 231. No stovepipes or any problems whatsoever.
  9. Between the two spring choices you have, use the 11# spring. I tested 10, 11, 13 and 16# (stock) and the 10# gave me the fastest reacquiring of the target. I’m shooting my reloads which consist of 124 Gr FMJ truncated cone from RMR with 4.2 Gr of Winchester 231 @ 1.102 OAL. Edit. I’m also using the stock thin buffer that came with my TSO.
  10. Check this website for places that have them. Czechmate
  11. Yes. It has the new trigger guard and grip checkering.

    Trigger Pin

That’s one of the things I replaced right away on my shadow 2 and TSO with CGW’s trigger pin. So far, no problems whatsoever.
  13. Agree. I installed them in my czechmate and TSO.
  14. I’ve been shooting 124 FMJ bullets from RMR using Winchester 231 on my shadow 2 and TSO. Works really well. I load 4.1 Gr @ 1.102”OAL for 128-130 PF.
  15. Simple way to level your scope using a flashlight an a plumb line with a white wall. Very inexpensive. Leveling a scope
  16. He doesn’t have a website. You can private message him on this board though. His screen name is Iksyotas.
  17. Get Ben Stoeger’s Dry Fire Reloaded or Anderson’s Dry Fire book.
  18. 1400 FPS with 124 Gr ammo is 173 PF so that’s more than enough for major. I load CFE pistol for 9 major and use CCI small rifle primer.
  19. Draw was very smooth. I was actually drawing faster and more efficient compared to my old comptac holster. It cost me $67 shipped. The blood red inner liner color matched my BOSS hanger color too.
  20. Just received my new shadow 2 holster I ordered from Brendan(Iksyotas). Damn, it’s so nicely done. It fits my gun like a glove and way better compared to my Comptac holster. Here are are some pictures: It’s a double layered kydex
  21. The Bladetech hole pattern matches the BOSS DOH hole pattern. I learned this after ordering a RHT holster for my TSO. Since the choices in the website didn’t list the BOSS hanger, I had to email RHT and ask them which of the choices for attachment do I have to choose on the menu. They replied and told me to choose the blade tech pattern since it matches my BOSS hanger. When I received the holster and installed it on my BOSS, it went in without any problems whatsoever. Hope this helps.
  22. That’s really nice. It’s great to see people like you doing things like this. I used to work with turbine engines (albeit way bigger than those) before I retired from the Navy and I had a great time working with them. Thanks.
  23. Very nice! What type of turbine engine are you using on your bike?
