  1. Sounds like you may be aware of the basics already but make sure your longer mounting screws don't go past your dust cover and get into the slide.

I was just confirming for SWprotected that the latest V4 is doing the same as his. I have several V4 and the dot does not stay on when you pull the battery tray. It should come right back on when you put the tray back in. Mine seem to Dim a little and then I replace the battery. I have never had it turn off but I'm sure a battery that gets really low on voltage could cause problems. The battery should read a little over 3 volts DC. I would change them no later than 2.5 volts. They are so cheap I just change them sooner than later.

I just got one back from C-more that was updated to a V4 within the last couple weeks. The dot pretty much goes away as soon as you pull the battery tray. Comes right back on as the battery tray is pushed in.
  4. We have found the same thing as CHA-LEE and use that method. Most of the time we don't have an empty bay to use as a buffer either.
  5. Are the pit floors still grass/dirt or has anything changed since nationals was held there?
  6. Grip information from Eric Grauffel web page. DOES NOT FIT ROUNDED TRIGGER GUARD FRAMES Where did you buy the grips from? EAA or someone else?
  7. The 3 dots menu button is upper right hand side of the scoring screen and the person has to already have scores entered to see the 3 dots. Tap on the 3 dots menu button and 3 choices should come up. Reset Reassign to another stage Reassign to another shooter
  8. There is a shooter number with on-line web practiscore registration. I would think that should be the default or an option unless that shooter number doesn't come across in the "Get Match Registration link"
  9. I'm guessing the fixed time is to help the stage move along. Some of you guys can't shoot strong hand or weak hand worth a shi$ But 3.5 seconds is lofty at best. You don't even see El Prez with wide open targets and freestyle in those times. I don't like trying to hear the fixed time or par time second beep in a big match and would prefer turning targets but it is what it is and Jake knows what he's doing most of the time. :~)
  10. You might try entering him from the match sign up page like most of the shooters use. Should work as a work around until you find the problem. Which might require a software update anyway.
  11. double post, forum seemed like it locked up on me. Please Delete
  12. +1 with theWacoKid If you don't want to go minor someday you better start working your way towards 170+ PF.
  13. Its not so much the spring but the extended base pad and the thin competition follower that lets the follower drop lower in the mag below the ribs and roll. The stock follower is probably taller but the extended base pad will let it drop lower as well. It won't be as bad as the TTI follower. You won't know with out trying. I would just go back to what worked. Stock pad, follower, spring until you get it sorted out and have time to test it out. Not usually good to be testing at the match's.
  14. The "error report" is generated from USPSA after we send in an activity report from practiscore or EZWin. Its gets sent to the club contact. It basically flags any incorrectly spelled names ( USPSA web see's the 2 as a spelling error). It also flags any wrong USPSA numbers or classification errors, expired members and probably other things I can't think off right now. Then we can correct our shooter database information. I assume USPSA has a report of these errors that someone has to look at and approve or change to be accepted into the classification system as well.
  15. I would put the round in a magazine and actually feed it into the gun a couple times. Measure before and after And see if the OAL changes. I don't like to see them get any shorter. Also try the different head stamps you normally use. Not all 9mm cases are the same. You may need an undersize sizing die for more bullet to case mouth tension.
  16. Yes it has a good lock on the back of the holster which you will need. If you lift it up about an 1/8" it is out of the holster. I got one to work with a PT SS 2011 grip.
  17. The GT/Ashton works the best. We have an early one that sits in the shed most of time now. If your shooters know how to shoot one already, I'd put my money on more poppers or swingers or max traps. The star is a pain in the butt to set-up, and it's novelty wears off pretty quick for most shooters.
  18. +1 on this test. And when I was having allot of primer smashing problems the white plastic wedge was way too far from touching the case and I hadn't noticed it yet. My wedge has also distorted or curled up also. The spare parts kit had one in it. Which reminds me I better get another one.
  19. Just get them use to going to practiscore to find it. Or if you have a club web-page I put a results link on our club web-page for the computer challenged to find it.
  20. Tap on Edit Shooters/Squads, then Tap on a shooters name and their email and phone# come up. Not sure if there is a way to disable it. But it defaults to showing it. Edit to add: this was from a match that was using on-line registration and the on-line registration form asks for this information. When you use the "Get match Registration" it comes across to the master. Not sure about a sync to master. Will have to try that. Personally I don't see the need to have people syncing to the master or stage devices during the match (esp. at level 1 match). Worry about the R.O.ing, and stage reset and getting the match done and torn down. Results will follow very shortly after that.
  21. Put more of a bevel on the corners of the firing pin stop where it mates with the extractor. It, the extractor, has to be able to pivot a little more on the fp stop. This, OP doesn't say if he beveled or rounded the firing pin stop per the aftec instructions.
  22. Have you connected them to a wi-fi router that has internet connection? Most of the time they will update from the internet connection. Some will not and have to use a clock sync app.
  23. Get the Silhouette and some 124 or 125 grain JHP bullets for starters. 1.165" OAL Start in the low 7 grain area and you will probably have to work your way up a little. Maybe between 7.4 & 7.8 Make sure your bullets are not pushing in and getting shorter. Rack the same round thru the gun 3 or 4 times and make sure the OAL is not getting shorter. Save the HP38 for a minor steel load.
