  1. Excellent advice, this should be the first play in your playbook to get new shooters in the sport.
  2. Glockstore makes one with an aluminum button that screws into a stock plastic mag catch.
  3. Just slide them off. Don’t try to compress the spring, just let it bend.
  4. That’s normal, it’s your buffer spring. Best way to eliminate that sound is to get a JP silent capture spring. They’re a little pricey, but think they are worth the money.
  5. Using .308 version with JP bolt.
  6. I’ve had a couple razors, they are certainly very good scopes. The Kahles has better glass, a wider field of view, a nice mil reticle w/ mil wind holds, and is quite a bit lighter. The only downside to the Kahles that I’ve found so far is cost. I never thought I would spend that much on a scope, but after looking through one I wasn’t left with much choice.
  7. Wind holds are just as important to me. Holding off into space sucks. The 3GR reticle in the K16 is very clean and isn’t distracting at all. This may be the best 3gun scope on the market currently.
  8. Personal preference. If you don’t hate the factory shoe, then it’s probably best to stick with it. I hate the wide flat triggers, much prefer the factory shoe.
  9. Agree. Thankfully Kahles picked up the 1-6 and updated the brt reticle with the 3GR reticle, currently my favorite scope for this sport.
  10. Have both, prefer the Holosun. I like the circle dot reticle, it’s easy to pick up even with a bad index. These are on competition guns, not carry.
  11. Johnny Glock is the way to go. Night and day difference between other kits.
  12. The Steiner is just as bright as the razor.
  13. The smoke is awesome, it’s light and strong. I think I get less flex out of this than my aluminum hanguards.
  14. I’ve tried several kydex holsters for a frame weight, and this was the best.
  15. Vortex razor is the best at this, nothing comes close. Adjust the diopter until it’s true 1x for your eyes.
  16. http://sckholsters.com/ This guy’s stuff is awesome, he can even customize to your liking.
  17. Sounds about right. I have found with many mag extensions for Glock you get one less than advertised.
  18. I can’t speak to the longevity yet as I only have 2,500 rounds on it, but I’m loving the Holosun 507c. The circle dot reticle is the main reason I use this optic, it’s very quick to pick up.
  19. From personal experience and from others it appears that JP and Whiskey arms have figured it out, cheaper alternatives i’d give a wide berth.
  20. No. The JP works great with gas open with a steel LMOS bcg, and I have to dial down with the aluminum BCG. The voodoo needs the gas block dialed down a bit with steel LMOS. Shoot various factory ammo to include fiocchi, PMC, Federal.
  21. Primary Machine! Quick turnaround, the most precise cuts with recoil bosses, and some of the best cerekote i’ve seen. I’ve been impressed with the fact I can take the optic off and put it back and it retains zero.
  22. Jager is extended, goes to end of slide. TTI will go to end of 17 slide, but is perfectly fine for G34. Either is fine, extended makes installing a little easier.
