  1. Well my latest project is making 9x18 Makarov using 9x19 Luger. I'm using lee dies on my dillon 550. Im going for 1k for the first batch. I don't shoot makarov, but one of my buddies does, so he is financing the project. The brass sized fine, I resized then belled the cases. I'm going to start trimming today!
  2. I have used ar-comp for 223, not bad. My go to rifle powder is win 748, it works for everything from 30/06 down to 556
  3. I have a frankfort and it's over 3 years.
  4. The best I have done was 30 rds in a 2" group at 45' .45 with percision hand loads.
  5. If they got wet with water, you can dry them out test a few if all the test rounds work you should be good to go. If your test rounds are ify, use them for plinking.
  6. I like having the slide fly. On my full size mod1 I give a good wack one the mag is in and she goes forward everytime!
  7. You may want to make sure of your cases. I have never seen an LC .223, they are normally 5.56mm. You need to load 5.56 and 223 as 2 different rounds.
  8. Sounds like your brass was wet tumbled with primers in.
  9. I believe AA5 is a slower burning powder. I use it in my 230gr .45 acp, but never tried it in a 9mm. As other have suggested it might be good with heavier rounds like 147. I think you will need a faster powder with 115gr.
  10. You don't have to increase your charge for accuracy, unless you need to hit pf. I have loaded powder puff rounds for cowboy shooting that were accurate as heck.
  11. First I would check your load data book.
  12. Hello, welcome. This is the place to learn.
  13. Where you teaching weapons at? I was with the 29th in Benning. M-16A1 and the M-60A1, let you know how long ago that was... Lots of great people and information here.
  14. I bet its hot as hell in right now. I'm in clinton twp. I don't like the name either. Welcome to the forum.
  15. Depending on how much time and energy you want to waist, you can also get into powder coating them. End result much nicer and no mess on hot days. Check out fortune cookie 45lc on youtube.
