  1. I agree with the others, powder usually just crushes.
  2. Would a paste work for you? The hornady lube and 91% alcohol is what I have been using and it works great
  3. I call it good with the outside edge having a curve and no gas comming thru.
  4. 550 will load almost everything, rifle & pistol. Quick and low cost caliber swaps.
  5. Tighten it up. When I first put mine on had the same problem.
  6. I think my next AR build is going to be a .450 Bushmaster. Anyone have any pros or cons on the caliber.
  7. .223 wylde is a chamber cut, not a cartrige. It was made to give you the ability to shoot both 5.56 and .223 in the same weapon with accuracy.

  10. I just polish the funnel with a used dryer sheet. I use them for all my press cleaning.
  11. On my 550, I size and deprime, then prep my brass. If the brass is ready to go, no need to resize. I run the 550 without the sizing die.

  13. I'm the 550 fan boy. If your going to ever load more than one caliber you want a 550. Not sure if the sdb can even do rifle.
  14. Lyman recipe book has 2400 loads for 357
  15. Classic coke bottle effect, If everything else is good, your good.
  16. Sounds like an ojive issue. Your bullet profile might not have enough room in your chamber. The punk and spin with tell you if it is the problem. I was working on a WWII Browning hi-power. When using my rounds that work great in the M&P9, the same problem accured. Some people call it a short chamber. I had to shorten the Col to get it to chamber, then I dropped the powder charge and worked it up for the new col.
  17. Here in michigan down and wool do the trick. Very warm boots always make the rest of me warm.
  18. Switched the 550 from 357 to 9mm and loaded up all my primer tubes
