  1. Check location of your digital scale and be sure it is not getting interferance.
  2. I'm a little late, but I am a 550 fan boy and had this conversation with Brian. Pretty much a case feeder on a 550 is not a great thing. If you can afford a 650, it seems that is what the 650 is made for. 550 on a good day you can kick out 500 rounds an hour. If you want more than that and can afford it, it seems a 650 is the way to go...
  3. I never mail order powder or primers, I am lucky enough to have several sources in driving distance. Down side I have learned to work up loads for differant powders. Right now I have 4 pounds of power pistol. I have great accuracy with 5.8gr behind 125gr powder coated lead round nose. With an M&P 4.25 barrel. My next step is to see how 6grs does. Power pistol seems to work best at max book load. I don't shoot competition, just accuracy.
  4. Well the operation was a success! Tonight I will see how many grains I've added.
  5. The only thing better than a 550, is two 550's one in each primer size!!!
  6. Has anyone tried making a magnum bar out of a large bar? Or am I cutting new steel here? I have a few extra large bars from my quick change kits and access to a machinest at work. So we will see what happens.
  7. I find they actually function better than factory in some finiky firearms.
  8. They sell manuals to explain all that, or you could try the powder manufacturer for a starting point.
  9. I went from a rock chucker to a 550, so I am in love with it. When I first got I made a sticker for it. Brass Bullet Pull Push Rotate Still have it on there, and that is my cycle. If I stop, I do it at the end of the cycle and all is good.
  10. If you have basic mechanical skills and the tools do it.
  11. Where do you sell? Do you have a web sight? I would like to see what you have to offer.
