  1. Winchester small rifle for 9 major.
  2. I've been wondering the same. My variable is my PCC has an 8" barrel. So does that effect those numbers? I'm running 147 Xtreme on 3.1gr of titegroup, my pistol load. My PCC is a CMMG MK9 8" SBR with a DPP on the lowest leupold mount
  3. I had the same exact issue with the same exact setup. Switched to a Redding seating die with the micrometer. Problem solved.
  4. I've shot about 15k RMR 115 fmjs. Never had any issues. I love their projos. I've requested for them to make 115 JHPs. I think everyone else should email them to make 115 JHPs too!
  5. I could, but I'd rather not do it to the 9 mags I have. But, I emailed Adrian from MBX, and he is gonna cut them for me!!
  6. Nobody else has a preference?
  7. I personally have never had issues with any of my MBX tubes. I do have 1 SV big stick and it looks nice... I don't have anything to test it with though
  8. I'm looking for everyones opinion. I'm currently waiting for a custom open gun to be completed. It will have the SVI 187 grip on it with a factory right side mag button. That being said, I'll need new magazines as my current MBX mags do not have a notch on that side. Do I: 1. Buy new MBX mags with the ambi cut, and sell the ones I have? 2. Buy SV big sticks? 3. Modify my existing big sticks and hope they work after? Everyones opinion would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance Stupid lefties... But if you're wrong handed like me, look into http://www.evil-hand.com for a right side thumb rest!
  9. I love how loud open guns are!
  10. Ryan Youngblood is the warranty claim person. I'm quite positive he doesn't like me as they're very familiar with me...
  11. I bought the + power spring for the +10 baseplate from Taylor freelance. Seems to work altho haven't live fired with it yet
  12. Thanks! No filler. Square grove butt joint with argon purge. I used to be a tig welder for work, so that part wasn't an issue. I wish I did a tiny bit more purge pressure as the corners sunk in a tiny bit and needed some internal filing. For guts, I stuffed the 2 springs, 2 followers, and 2 base plates in it. I manually cycled it thru the gun it worked. I got 44 in before my fingers hurt. I need the maglula thing.
  13. Welded mine up. I need to figure out the best way to make the mag springs work now.
  14. Looks great! Texturing the thumb contact area would cost way too much for machine time. Also, after shooting thousands of rounds, I think smooth is preferable. It won't chew up your thumb and if you don't have your thumb in the exact spot you prefer, you can still shimmy it while shooting. That being said, putting grip tape on is the best bet if you prefer texture.
  15. Location is personal preference. I clamped it on my gun to figure out where I liked it. I center lined it off the slide stop pin for height. Once again, it's all personal preference. 5-40 screws seems to be the norm for mounting hardware.
  16. I'm gonna purge the mag when welding. I gotta fill my bottle so idk when this will happen. I figure if I fully penetrate fuse weld them together, it'll be perfect. Especially since the mags are supposedly stainless steel. They're prob shit grade SS tho so I'd imagine they'll have porosity.
  17. I think as a tig welder by trade, I'll have to attempt to weld 2 mags together and see how it works. Do people do a full penetration weld while shielding the internal of the mag with argon or just put a big booger on the outside?
  18. A friends RTS2 V4 shut off at Florida Open the other day. I'm like 15,000 rounds deep on my DPP without 1 issue on the original battery
  19. Gun looks good. Not a fan of all the advertising on it tho
