  1. I do a complete gas system cleaning about every 1000-1200 rounds. A clean gun is a reliable gun...
  2. I’d say check this. Newer MPXs no longer have this issue as the cam pin can go in either direction. What trigger is in the gun? what generation/model MPX?
  3. Contact Rob who owns Inleadwetrust.com
  4. Is it the gold/yellow one or the black one?
  5. That is exactly what Rob from ILWT said. Regardless, I abandoned painted bullets for the MPX a while ago. Plated boolits for me. Same with my Desert Eagle... Either plated or jacketed soft points..
  6. So I tested out some clean shot yesterday. I loaded 3.5gr under a 115. Felt very soft. Gun ran 100 rounds flawless. I have about 1000 rounds of my normal hp38 loads thru the gun since I’ve cleaned it. So in other words it was kinda dirty. I’d think it was sub minor as I didn’t chrono because everyone was saying how it’s not an ideal powder for the MPX
  7. I talked to Rob from ILWT, he recommended HP38 which is W231. I haven’t had FTE issues but sometimes have FTF issues. Not trying to steal the thread but I’ve found this thread to be very helpful. I used to run 4.0TG under a 115fmj. Everything got really dirty so I switched to plated. Stuff was still getting really dirty so I called Rob and he suggested HP38. It still seems dirty but not as dirty as TG. I tried the whole Blue bullets and ibejihead painted bullets but what a mess. Never again in this gun. Which sucks as I get discounts thru ibejihead. Oh well... I did just recieve my BCG from ILWT which I haven’t run yet. Ive found I like how the gun runs with a 1200fps 115, but just want it to be 100%. I’ve tried like 1000 triggers in the gun and so far I keep switching back to the stock timney MPX PCC black trigger. I bought the timney DH3 which they said it will run in a MPX, but after about 1500-2000 rounds it started not being able to drop the hammer. I adjusted the set screw and it worked, but then it didn’t again. I think they’re sending me a new trigger.. sorry I added no value to this topic. I’m just bored with this shelter in place crap
  8. I stopped using coated bullets in the PCC because I hate the lead build up on the comp and having to scrape it off. I’ve used blue bullets, ibejihead, and brazos. All of them did the same thing. I switched to Everglades plated and boom, problem solved. Rg2018 for 5% discount code with Everglades. Taylor10 in comment section of checkout for 10% off ibejihead. Good luck finding anything in stock
  9. I have a AR9 I built with an 8” SBR. I switch to a MPX competition and couldn’t be happier. The recoil impluse is softer IMO. I’d say stop over thinking it and buy a MPX. I got a weber tactical mag pouch that works great
  10. Ok, this is by no means an in depth review... but overall I’m really happy with the Timney DH3. It’s been flawless for operations for about 1500 rounds so far. Everyone I’ve let play with it agreed that it’s a great feeling trigger. The only downfall is cost. Oh well
  11. I use a MPX with an Odin works extended mag button. Seems to be the best I can find, as a southie
  12. They couldn’t keep up with DVC-O warranty issues. Everyone is trying to sell theirs now that they no longer warranty them. They’re destined to break, ask me how I know.. I’ve had 10 warranty replacements The tacticool market is huge now especially with John Wick... so they’re following the money.
  13. So I’ve put maybe 250 rounds thru the Timney DH3. So far I really like it! I’ll follow up more once I get some more time on it.
  14. I did put the original springs in with it too. The stock timney trigger is far superior than the Larue trigger with factory springs.
  15. I guess I’m bad at following up... I was not a fan of the LaRue trigger. For a combat trigger, it’s probsbly amazing. It has a lot of creep compared to the SD3G. I had light primer strikes but I also put the JP3.5 springs in it. I continued on having malfunctions with my MPX after putting the SD3G and LaRue. Always a FTF. I then put the stock Timney trigger my MPX competition came with. Have put about 1500 rounds through it without any issues. All that being said, I ordered the Timney DH3 trigger last night. I felt it at shotshow and decided to go ahead with it. I don’t like how it’s a “2 stage” trigger. But the first stage is very short and almost no weight. The break is super crisp and maybe 1 pound. The reset was super short too. I emailed Timney and they said they designed the trigger for Dan to use in a Sig MPX, MCX, and AR15. Maybe if if I remember I’ll give updates when I receive it.
  16. Inleadwetrust.com offers barrels as an option
  17. Xtreme 115rn 4.5gr HP38 1.130” fiocchi spp Sig MPX Competition 135pf
  18. Newest update, I put stock trigger back in. I shot a classifier with it and easily did a M score. Maybe I’ll do nothing?
  19. I played with the Timney Daniel Horner trigger that I was told is MPX compliant at shotshow. I think that is the avenue I’m gonna go. It’s very expensive. They call it a 2 stage trigger. The first stage is about 1/16” approximately based off no true measurements. The first stage must be under 1 pound. The break is a clean crisp break that weighs about 1 pound. Again, I tested it at shotshow so I had nothing to measure anything. What I do know is I really like it. I would prefer no pre travel “2 stage” trigger but oh well.
  20. I was at Sig range day yesterday. There wasn’t a Max edition X5 Legion.
  21. A very well known GM once told me “Don’t shoot any open guns made by a company that begins with A”
  22. Rob from inleadwetrust recommended the LaRue MBT-S1. I purchased JP3.5 trigger springs for it too. The trigger is made of S7 toolsteel so it should be very strong. I’m replacing my giessele SD3G that I have in it. I took out the stock Timney trigger that came in the competition MPX.. i should be receiving the trigger today. I’ll report back later
