  1. I once bought an AR with a KAC branded airsoft rail on it. I found out it was airsoft when it broke. Pisses me off even thinking about it because I thought I was paying up for quality parts.
  2. How thick is the metal plate? I am assuming I would have to cut into this to fit them with the Czechmate magwell??
  3. semi related, unrelated question. Any tips on lightening the mag release spring on a TS? You have to man up on mine to get the mag to drop.
  4. I like the rubber grips for my CZ 75's and my big mitts... I have a spare set for my TS, but haven't gotten around to trimming them up. I need to do that.
  5. If you're budget conscious, look at the 85 Combat. Pretty much the same as the 75 shadow, but with less mass in the slide.
  6. Thank you. Yesterday should've been enough unless I really bomb one before my club submits the scores.
  7. I use 5.0 of hp38 with 230gr LRN, never loaded the xtremes for 45. Can't recall the OAL off the top of my head.
  8. A friend of mine has a set that he didn't even know was airsoft until he ordered a legit CR Speed 4th pouch. He still runs the airsoft pouches with no issue.
  9. Go ahead and put me in. I have a classifier match and one other match on my score sheet from 18+ months ago. Hoping to start shooting more regularly now that my little one has turned one. I'm a low c classifier away from bumping up. Hopefully won't be in this race for long. Member ID: A82466 - production I do have a question about d class shooters and classifiers, if anybody has an answer. How does a zero, complete bomb, of a classifier effect your %? I know it would be flagged and not counted for a "c" or above shooter.
  10. Does this lighten the pull as it does on the Shadow? Not sure I want a lighter trigger than what I have on my TS.
  11. My Mink built "Jackson Package" has a much lighter trigger pull than my CZ Custom Shadow Target, 6lbs da vs 8lbs da, and probably a lb lighter on the SA side of the house. I have not changed springs on either of them, and it could be solely because my Mink build has a lot more rounds and dry fire on it. Both are butter smooth, but i'd have to drop a pre-b disconnector and a CGW 11.5 mainspring in the Shadow Target to elevate it from backup gun duty. I guess it depends on what you are looking for and what your expectations are, both are great, I just prefer my AA build to the CZC build. YMMV
  12. HP38/win231 is literally all I have ever reloaded with. Works in my 9, .38, and 45 acp, what else can I ask for?
  13. Just curious as to what hammer you have? Mine with a stock hammer, the safety will not move in the hammer down position. With a CZC competition hammer, I can engage the safety with the hammer down, but it won't fire. If I pull the trigger, it will go to half cock and stop. Just from reading your post, it makes it sound like something isn't fit right.

My transitional Pre B took a steel punch, 2# hammer, tape, vise, a ton of force, and a lot of cuss words. I don't know what the hell they installed those sights with back in the day, but it was ridiculous.
  15. Can you order from JEM and have them ship to your FFL? From their website, i was under the impression that you had to have an FFL to order.

not going to lie, read that as Hi POINT the first time through, and said to myself that *that* would never be an issue for me.

Cool deal. I have a couple of CZ75's to do and will eventually need to put new night sights on my carry 1911, so this unit appeals to me. Thanks for the feed back.

Are you guys using the p500 or the p500 pro? Can probably justify the expense of the p500... but the pro is getting a little rich for my blood.
  19. Any factory options (or options period) to put an extended safety on a pre B 75? Pretty sure I know the answer.

    85 Combat

If you can find a clean transitional pre b, it would probably be cheaper, but once you factor in refinishing and unknown wear and tear on the beaters you are likely to find, plus the adjustable rear and the adjustable travel on the 85c, you definitely come out ahead with the 85c. It worked out a couple hundred cheaper than my pre b, all in. I will caveat it that my 85 came with a cgw short reset disco and extended firing pin, so im into it for less than I should be.

    85 Combat

No idea. I picked one up recently at a price I couldn't refuse. just finished the trigger job, installing the comp hammer and fitting the safety. I have a mink built shadow sp-01, a transitional pre b and now the 85c. It certainly seems to be the best value for a cz that lacks a fpb. Just from dry firing, I think I'm in love.
  22. I've always used red until I got a gun with the green installed. Been dry firing with it for a few days now and think I am probably going to leave it green.
