  1. I went with an SRC mainly because it was one of the few non railed, non a1, style gun that would work with my existing single stack rig. After disassembling it fully, I'd wager that it is made by WE tech. KWA or TM will probably be my next one should I not be able to get this one working right. I'll definitely get something of higher quality next go round.
  2. It arrived and was good to go... until the air nozzle cracked about 1000 rounds into it. Now waiting on replacement parts to see if I can get it back up and running or if I'm going to have to replace the whole unit. I've enjoyed shooting it and was planning on getting some airsoft style poppers and a texas star... but now am second guessing getting to heavy into it if I am going to have to replace a bunch of parts once a month.
  3. I have a red hills that is too tight for my liking, if you have interest in trading shells, let me know. My red hills holster is drilled same pattern as a bladetech, so should work fine with your hanger.
  4. Mine is a factory 1.75 as well.
  5. Unlikely to happen unless he adds Mississippi to the tour.
  6. Finished the first round today. It's really been an eye opener. I have lots of work to do.
  7. I've noticed that since I started shooting pistol competitions, it has made me a better clays and wing shooter. I can get on the second bird faster. Could be purely coincidental, but for me, I feel like all trigger time translates.
  8. I've been using the Tommy Konos for years. Can't bring myself to drop rehband money.
  9. It's right at 20mm tall from top to bottom, if that helps.
  10. I do not know when it was originally purchased as I bought it in a bag of miscellaneous TS parts. It has no czc logo on it if that helps with dating it.
  11. I have what I was told was a large CZC magwell back when I bought it, but the bevels look more like the IPSC version to me. Anybody know the height of one or the other?
  12. I love shooting steel. I'm not very good at it, but I love the matches. I've wasted many a rounds on texas stars and polish plate racks.
  13. I have no plans to shoot limited at this point, it'll mainly be steel matches. I'm probably retired from USPSA until my son gets a couple years older due to the length of the matches.
  14. being able to run the stock mags is the main reason I am interested in the Czechmate magwell, as I have no need for the extended baseplates required for the CZC magwell as I don't think I'll ever use my TS for anything that would require more than 20 rounds of 9mm.
  15. does the Czechmate magwell and the CZC magwell fit the same? I've never seen the czechmate magwell in person, but it looks like it extends further up the grip from the pics I've seen.
  16. I need to find a pre B beater. I'm jealous.
  17. I have a 9mm range officer, it's been a fine gun for the price, and as mentioned, you could most of your existing gear. I prefer the tripps to the wilsons, but have had good luck with metalform 9mm mags too.. the trade off is that they are cheap, and work, but only hold 9 rounds. Otherwise, I think at the $900 price point, you are looking at a striker fired gun of your preference, to be able to get all the gear you need for a match.
  18. I've got one of the large CZC magwells and a set of CZC aluminum grips for sale on the classifieds. I cut the ones I have on my TS down with a hacksaw, just make sure you get your measurements right. It's about an 1/8 of an inch to clear the factory or CZC magwell if memory serves.
  19. It takes me about an hour to do the 15 minute drill.
  20. I did my first Setup A today, hoping to make time to follow this for a few weeks and see how it goes.
  21. Do you do anything different with the stock hammer installed on the TS?
  22. Sorry for your loss. I had my 16 year old Blue Heeler put down about a month ago. One of the toughest things I've had to do in a number of years. I still catch myself looking for her when I go downstairs in the morning.
  23. A router would be the simplest, but you don't have to recess it much for the grips to fit over the Wilson magwell. Maybe 1mm~. You can do it all by hand and it shouldn't take too terribly long.
