  1. Have you actually weighed them? My AIM BCG is lighter than my JP
  2. Seems like that would change dimensions pretty quickly.
  3. cant you just pull off the barrel support from the 014?
  4. http://atlasgunworks.com/Black%20Friday.html It's $1000 over the CK or DVC but you get a true custom, stainless grip, SVI trigger, and a MBX mag.
  5. I'd think powder coat would go on too thick and mess with dimensions.
  6. if you have no budget, I'd look at getting a full custom.
  7. this makes for cheap 3 gun ammo. my beretta loves it. https://www.woodburyoutfitters.com/federal-ammo/federal-top-gun-12ga-2-3/4in-1-13565
  8. less reciprocating mass. less gun movement between shots
  9. Their email address is on the site. I'd start there mbxextreme@gmail.com
  10. weight at the muzzle can effect poi but shouldn't effect accuracy. suppressor guys deal with this all the time.
  11. seems to me like the "cheapest" expense is whatever coating you put on the gun vs. the gun itself.
  12. Best value is the JP original. Takes a little time to set up but once you do, it's money.
  13. A polymer C-more is 3.0 oz An aluminum C-More is 4.5oz An Aimpoint T-1 is 3.3 oz An Aimpoint T-2 is 3.0 oz
  14. Are you me? Thats the same exact progression I took and moved from one to the next for the same reasons. I actually liked the Burris but after using it at RM3G and MGM Ironman, I realized the center dot did a good job of making long targets disappear.
  15. keep the sear in place so that hammer doesn't follow. I'd start with different ammo.
  16. If I dont run a JP silent capture system, it gets a JP buffer spring. I hate the "spoon on a cheese grader" sound of the standard spring.
  17. I dont see the complaints about target visibility. I shot Limited Iron and found the targets very easy to find. I was also shooting with the ROs and shot 2 stages in the rain. MGM Ironman on the other hand.....

I bought this one and used it on an M&P, Glock, CZ, and a few other guns I cant think of right now. For the price, it's awesome. Sure it isnt as pretty as the $120 ones, but it simply works. http://www.sightpusher.com/Handgun-Sight-Tool.html
  19. I've been searching for an auto retention holster for my TS forever. Dropping a gun is always in the back of my mind at a 3 gun event. I tried to convince about 5 different companies to make me something custom (for well over $100) and they were either to busy to try or just flat out didnt want to. Finally stumbled upon the Safariland 578 GLS Pro Fit. I originally bought it for a 2011 I'm having built but the box said it would fit a CZ75. Sure enough, works like a charm on my 75SA, 97B, Czechmate, and TS . It will not, however, work with the CZC TS extended safety if it's engaged. You can either run it as is, and the gun will be slightly canted outward making for a tighter draw, or cut out a small relief for the standard safety, and it's buttery smooth. I have it mounted on an Invictus Practical holster hangar and I love it. Paid only $30 off ebay as well. Just make sure you get the long version. I used a 5.11 thumb drive holster for my M&P and I thought that was pretty good. The down side to that is you have to keep downward thumb pressure while lifting the gun upward. You really had to concentrate to keep the gun from locking in on the draw. This grip lock system is much better IMO. The spring is weaker so there is very little resistance to depress the lock and it's right there when you go to grab the pistol. Nothing in my draw changed vs a normal Blade-Tech.
