The 75 Shadow SA is $300 more than the normal SA and has a different hammer, sights, and a non FPB slide. To me, I'd get the standard SA and do the work yourself and save money. Since the gun isn't Production legal anyway, pulling the fpb isn't a big deal.

does the Czechmate magwell and the CZC magwell fit the same? I've never seen the czechmate magwell in person, but it looks like it extends further up the grip from the pics I've seen. its different. the Czechmate mag well requires compact grips. Czechmate magwell requires short grip panels, compact grips are for Compact pistols like P-01. the grips that work for the factory magwell and CZC magwell are too long to work for the Czechmate magwell.

fwiw, the Czechmate mag well needs no mods to fit the stock or CZC basepads.

Dawson makes one smaller and one taller. I went with the smaller of the 2 and it's perfect for me.

Matches can get pretty hot. Gotta air out the boys.

I thought the same thing about the sights until I used the gun. Having a built in slide racker is super convenient.

I superimpose and slugs hit poa out to 100yds.

with the floating firing pin, that little dent is normal. it will do it with a full weight or low mass setup.

Fill me in (no one else!) on when where to get AA at $53 a case! even with tax that is awesome! my local store sells cases for $73. rebate season starts around end of spring for $20/case for up to 5 cases. that lasts me through the year.

I buy AAs for $53/case during rebate season. that doesn't include 7% sales tax but I sell the hulls so it more than makes up for that.

1 1/8 7.5shot @1145fps is my go to. I'll use the 1 1/8 7.5 shot @1300fps ammo if the stage requires it though.

now that i saw the problem, i felt really silly not recognizing it sooner. the previous owner got a little happy with a dremel. the fbp lifter got stuck in front of the fpb and wouldn't let the slide go. no primer marks were because the lifter wasn't moving the fpb. now the gun has no fpb parts and everything runs great.

Why make the gas port bigger, just to make it smaller again with an adjustable gas block? Seems counter productive.

lol. I'm actually really glad you didn't buy it now. I'd feel like an ass if it broke on you. figured it out though. now to fix it.

So I was out shooting my 75 SA today. All of I sudden I pull the trigger and there is nothing there. Eject the round, no primer mark. Try again, same thing. Put it in bag and assume its a broken firing pin or something. I get it home to start inspection and start by popping out the slide catch. Slide catch out and slide will not slide off the gun at all. It will still slide back like the slide catch is in, just not forward and off. Barrel just floats around with the slide rearward. The guide rod must have fallen off the barrel and got stuck in the frame somehow. So now I have 2 questions 1. How does this thing come apart? 2. How in the hell did this happen? So far, the I've tried to remove the slide is a BFH to the back of the slide and pulling the slide rearward and pulling forward on the barrel. When I pull forward on the barrel, I can feel the guide rod/spring compress, I just cant get it un stuck. What am I missing?

why would you want a decocker on a single action only pistol?

a 12 rd tube is ideal for me. 8 in tube and one in gun means I can quad load right from the start.

the 014 isn't made for the cz 75 with the curved trigger guard, it's for the much older version. I had a ton of problems trying to get mine to fit correctly then I called their cs and that's what they told me.
