  1. What's your budget? Complete upper or stripped? $800 for a JP or QC upper? Or $300 for a PSA?
  2. How about renting? https://4drentals.com/ https://www.reamerrentals.com/
  3. Looks like we have multiple firing pin threads. My CMMG pin broke after about 5,000 rounds in my CMMG bolt.
  4. FYI, info from the RIA support team: The factory recoil spring and hammer spring weight for 9mm below: Recoil Spring FS (full size) 9mm - 12 lbs. MS (mid-size) 9mm - 14 lbs. CS (compact size) 9mm - 16 lbs. Hammer Spring FS, MS, and CS - 18 lbs.
  5. You can ask these guys how much shipping would be from Australia: https://www.2alphashootingsupplies.com.au/product/alpha-x-holster-thigh-pad/
  6. I wonder if that's related to the Rogers Shooting School. You may want to send them an email with photos.
  7. Let us know how you like that Narrow Dawson front sight.
  8. I have both and I would go with the RIA. Having to deal with EAA for Tanfoglios in the US is enough of a problem for me to recommend RIA. I had to send guns to both EAA and RIA for service and it's much better dealing with RIA. Both guns are excellent values. I see that RIA for $875 which is a great value for the included features.
  9. I tried a 3D printed magwell and returned it because it was way too flexible.
  10. Having a magwell can make a big difference. Try shooting CM 99-11 (El Prez) with and without a magwell and you'll see the difference. Especially to those of us that have shot pistol for a long time and are used to bringing the pistol up into our "workspace" for reloads. Now if someone would just make one out of aluminum.
  11. Check your current holsters. I'm able to use the same large frame BladeTech holster for SS, Limited and Production. For steel, you'll generally want more mags loaded only to 8-10 rounds and change mags for each of the 5 strings. It's less weight to swing between targets, and more importantly ... you won't run out of ammo on a stage since you're starting each stage with a full mag.
  12. Getting a 2nd slide is a fast way to change from CO to production.
  13. How can you be sure it's not an ammo problem? Are these reloads?
  14. How rigid is it? I tried a 3D printed magwell and returned it because it was way too flexible.
  15. FYI - No performance issues on a PC using Chrome or IE this morning.
  16. Post a picture in this thread also.
  17. In that price range you also have the Primary Arms 1-6 or 1-8. I've been pretty happy with their 1-6x.
  18. This RIA 9mm 1911 has Dawson Precision sights with their .040" rod which seems pretty skinny to my aging eyes. I'd like to replace it with a larger rod. What front sight has the largest diameter fiber rod that I can put in this 1911? Or can this one be drilled to accommodate a larger rod?
  19. And for reference, a Timney works in mine, and the Velocity started doubling after around 500 rounds.
  20. I see more C-more sights in matches than any other brand. Big window and swappable dot sizes.
  21. Tried a comp ... it made zero difference so I sold it. See if you can try one before wasting your money.
