  1. Which TTI base pad?
  2. Average of ten trigger pulls is 3 pounds, 7 ounces right of the box. Pretty impressive for a striker fired gun with no trigger mods (yet) and not even broken in.

  6. Another article about it: https://www.thefirearmblog.com/blog/2021/06/10/scheel-manufacturing-roller-delayed-buffer-system/
  7. Another vote for the Pro Chrono DLX. And download the free desktop and/or mobile app. I had to buy their Indoor Lighting system to get consistent results. https://www.competitionelectronics.com/product/prochrono-dlx/
  8. I've used the HF 2.5L model for 4 years with no issues.
  9. According to the FAQs on RIA's website, you can purchase replacement springs here: https://advancedtactical.com/parts/1911-parts/springs.html https://www.armscor.com/support-center/faqs/
  10. Just remember, square corners are more likely to draw blood when you rake your hand over the rear sight when quickly clearing a jam.
  11. I think this article in USPSA Front Sight magazine by Steve Foster is a great explanation: https://stevefostershooting.files.wordpress.com/2018/07/uspsa_magazine_julyaug_scclassification.pdf
  12. These may lower the sight a bit: https://www.tandemkross.com/Shadow-Mount-V20-for-SW®-SW22-VICTORY®_p_509.html or https://outerimpact.com/shop/smith-wesson-victory-m-r-a-red-dot-mountadapter/

  15. What 1911 lower did you use with the CWA conversion?
  16. I would call DW. I needed a DW 1911 part a couple of years ago that wasn't on their website. I called and they did my order by phone.
  17. How are your splits with the JP-5 compared to the GMR-15?
  18. Here's some info from a 1911 book:
  19. Why don't you use them for USPSA?
  20. You may want to browse the Steel Challenge sub-forum. There's a thread on the TX22. The most common RFPO is probably some version of a Ruger Mark#. You also see Buckmarks, S&W, 1911 conversions. I use a Ruger 22/45 for that division but you'll want to use whatever you already have, or whatever you shoot best. Try other steel shooters' guns if possible before spending money. For RFRO it's most commonly a modified Ruger 10/22. https://forums.brianenos.com/forum/56-steel-challenge/
  21. Bore Tech also has a Carbon Remover product. Have you tried that stuff?
  22. I changed the hand guard on my JP Ultralight barrel, but I'm not understanding your question. I've included a photo sequence that I put together for someone who was asking about the cleaning port. Also, this JP video may help: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rc-cf6ndZ4c
  23. Agree 100% with this route. Buy a new or used 10/22, buy five or six 10 round mags and start competing in RFRO.
