  1. I have a stick on reading lens at the top of my shooting glasses of the dominant eye. It’s okay but I believe it should be a single scrip. Reason is because at certain shooting positions, I lose the use of the lens because of the position my head is in. Stand up shooting is no problem but when I have to get into low positions (low ports, prone etc) I lose it.
  2. Brass? Maybe you have some of those “stepped” cases sneaking in which holds less volume so it acts like it’s overcharged?
  3. When I bought my 9mm dies, I ordered from them on-line and all went well. Never had to call them.
  4. Never mind, I’ll just run both screws loose so I can draw the gun without binding. The play is the same even when tightening the bottom screw but it really binds on the gun during the draw.
  5. So the 1/8” gap is at the bottom of the holster? Or where the bottom screw is at?
  6. Check out the RHT holster play in Gear and Accessories. Has the instructions on how to adjust the RHT holster.
  7. A friend shoots Blue Bullets in his open 38SC at major and his gun has the rib with holes and a comp. I wouldn’t try them and only shoot jhp.
  8. I got one for my Shadow 2 that was slightly used. Thanks for the instructions on adjusting the holster as I was having a hard time trying to get a good fit but was hard to get it released from the holster. I had to really loosen the fit so I could get the gun out. I’ll try to readjust the fit since I got the instructions now.

    Shadow 2 Questions

The Shadow 2 I recently acquired was one that was worked on by CZ Custom. The DA and SA pulls are way better than a stock S2 as I was able to compare the gun I got against a new stock S2. I have a few more mods to make like switching out the trigger to one with more curve to shorten the reach as well as a fully adjustable rear sight and then the barrel bushing. Will also try a lighter hammer spring. You will like the trigger after some mods. See the thread about CZ 101 (sorry, forgot the exact title).
  10. That is some great looking weather forecast there ChuckS. Might have to put this one on my list for next year when I will have more free time . I'll be watching for videos of this match, maybe I can learn a few things like how to use front and rear sights. Open is so much easier for me.
  11. Good info on TiteGroup. Next time I'll get that instead of N320 (btw, I use 3.1 of N320 with an SNS 147 coated RN at 1.120" 131pf).
  12. I use the GG ones on my open guns. I had a machine shop thin down the mounting pad side to get the pedal closer to the slide.
  13. Could be you just have a loose Cmore. Have a spare that you could try?
  14. How many screws are dedicated to holding the mount only? (not going through the thumb rest)
  15. I have the same thumb rest. Need to make sure at least three of the scope mount screws only secure the mount, and the thumb rest can use the other two.
  16. No cracks in the scope mount? One of my scope mounts had a crack and the gun wouldn't group well. I would start all over, take everything off, inspect for cracks in the scope mount, cracking in the scope body, debris under the mounting surface (especially where the Cmore mates with the mount) and reinstall with thread locking compound (red for mount to frame and blue for scope to mount). The bottom of the Cmore is sometimes not flat, can sand it against a flat surface.
  17. Make sure your lock screws for the elevation and windage adjustment screws are snug.
  18. How far is the range from Orlando?
  19. The USPSA website has the schedule. Looks like it’s a back-to-back-back match with the like divisions grouped. Looks like for me this will be the third one in a row that I will miss due to me not wanting to fly halfway around the world ? for a match. Unless I get sponsored....lol 2018 USPSA Nine Days of Nationals The United States Practical Shooting Association and the Universal Shooting Academy are pleased to announce the 2018 USPSA Nine Days of Nationals presented by Federal PremiumAmmunition. The match will feature three independent National Championships, October 20-28, 2018 in Polk County, the heart of Florida. Open, Pistol Caliber Carbine, and Carry Optics Divisions October 20-22 Production and Single Stack Divisions October 23-25 Limited, Limited 10, and Revolver Divisions October 26-28 Each match will offer a unique mix of stages. A special aggregate award will be offered for those who compete in all three events.
  20. Not so much for those of us along or in the Pacific.
  21. For new brass I don’t use case lube. Try a few with and without and you decide.
