  1. Where did you guys get the convex style?
  2. I just received my order and thought the curve style was the one pictured. Not, the curve is the standard shape trigger. Will have to return them. SC lists the option as “round” so I thought it was the reverse curve style.
  3. Wonder why the time difference between CO and Production???
  4. I got a Colt Competition in 9mm and it was difficult to insert a mag unless you used quite a bit of force. So I’m thinking that the spring inside of the mag catch must be pretty stout. What I did was get an extended mag catch from Dawson Precision. They have it in different lengths. Installed it and haven’t had any problems. If you want to keep the stock mag catch, try and polish the surfaces of the retaining screw and the body where it slides in the frame to see if that helps. Next would be to cut the spring in small increments.
  5. The current information on the CGW kit claims a reduction of 5mm. The label on the bag the kit comes in has a check mark next to RRK and there is also another line on the label of RRK-T2 which is unchecked. Next version is with a T3 disco?
  6. Is there any fitting or polishing of parts in the CZ Custom kit? Any small screws involved?
  7. Just ordered from SC, they have a wider selection of styles.
  8. The triggers in the pics, would they be the “round” style? Looks like the trigger length can be adjusted a pretty good amount?
  9. I don’t/won’t use coated for open but a friend uses Blue Bullets in his open gun that has a hybrid barrel and he says he doesn’t have leading issues.
  10. The 40 is a “snappy” round compared to the 9mm. You didn’t say what power factor your loads make. There are vendors that sell a shield that mounts above the thumb safety so your thumb doesn’t hit the slide. Also have thumb safetys with built in wings that serve the same purpose. Something to consider. A fellow shooter has broken a few thumb safetys on his gun so I think he is pushing down hard on it. He shoots they gun very well. You have a rare one that can shoot those stubby 135s, should keep it. Tweak away way and keep what works for you.
  11. Uhhhh.......did I nick a nerve or something??? Just saying what set up works for my gun. You don’t need to worry about me, I hardly practice anyway.
  12. Yup, because Federal’s are always out of stock.
  13. Before I switched to the aluminum ones I used the black ones and the blue ones. These don’t last long and had caused problems affecting the cycling on the gun. Then I started to use the CP buffs (off white ones). They are tough and never had a problem with those.
  14. I’m running a S2 with a 11.5lb hammer spring, 11lb recoil spring, reduced power trigger return spring, extended firing pin with reduced power firing pin spring and the short reset kit and haven’t had any problems with Winchester small pistol primers. Keep the firing pin channel clean and check the fp spring regularly. I keep the fp and channel dry as wet lube will slow down the fp.
  15. Clean out the firing pin channel and check out the spring if broken or.... and getan extended firing pin.
  16. I got the Colt Competition series 80. I see they are now offered in series 70. Main reason for me going with the Colt was the undercut of the grip and trigger guard. I don’t care for the Novak style rear sight but it works. Didn’t put too much money in the gun and got rid of the series 80 parts. Extended firing pin, Dawson mag well, full length guide rod, 11lb recoil spring, 17lb main spring, aluminum shock buff, grip tape on front strap is all I addeand tweaked the sear spring. Works fine for a fun gun. Wanted a STI DVC Classic but too expensive for me as a play gun. Other one I would consider is the SA Range Officer as I like the rear sight.
  17. I would just shoot the set up you have now to get used to the timing. The high second shot could be you pushing the gun up after it recovers from the first shot. I like the 9lb recoil spring and 17lb main spring in my set up.

    Shadow 2 Bushing

Was it easy to take out?
  19. Seems to have an association with grips that have flat sides. Maybe the palm swell version will move your finger enough that it will reduce or eliminate the pressure against the trigger guard.
  20. Did you try the palm swell Bogies?
  21. Not with the Shadow 2. Glocks, yes. what grips do you have on your S2?
  22. In 3 months it will be. I already ordered mine.
