  1. I have two Open guns from Cameron's and they are working really well for me. Wouldn't hesitate to get another one in Limited if I could see the sights ?
  2. And check the mechanism that moves the primer slide. The pin that rides in the groove that moves the lever that moves the primer slide sometimes gets hung up. Also check the back where the round thing with the side cut off that allows you to remove the primer slide, gotta turn and tighten it so the primer slide doesn't move too far out. Sorry, don't the names of the parts. Happens to me when I forget to tighten up the stop that prevents the primer slide from moving out.
  3. I like the new gear. Being able to custom fit the holster to my gun is great. Biggest plus for me is being able to detach the holster and mag pouches from the belt when I travel. Being in a mag capacity restricted jurisdiction, I have to have four mag pouches. The ability to easily remove some when shooting in a free state is awesome. Plus, I met the GR guys at the Area 1 match and they were very helpful.
  4. Why not drill the main spring housing? Pin can be bent towards the ledge of the grip safety to keep in deactivated.
  5. Looks like that was one of the two Sigs that lost their extractor from blow outs at Sunday's match.
  6. Never mind, it's on the website, no number just for 38SC
  7. Yes he does. He recently did two grips for me just to my specifications. Truly a custom modification the way you want it.
  8. I like that. Easier than unscrewing the white plastic retainer. Will place my order with Dillon in the morning.
  9. What parts are they sending you? Same thing happens to me when loading 9mm.
  10. Has anyone tried the new MBX Stealth 2 followers? I ordered some to see the difference.
  11. CHARLES D, as long as you don't shoot on "auto pilot" you'll be fine. I and the few others that shoot 10 rounds in Hawaii, have no issues when shooting at Area 2. Just gotta have your plan and follow it. Like said earlier, in Limited you probably have to reload once somewhere on the stage. Most medium and large stages have more than one place to reload. I have heard stories of Hawaii and Canadian shooters dumping mags after 10 rounds but I have not seen or experienced that phenomenon ?
  12. We have been shooting "everything" 10 for a long time. Shooters will adjust to it. We don't like it but it's the law. LE is exempt in our law but we still download to 10 in competition. We were doing this a long time before USPSA put it in the rule book. We had a level 2 match here. I don't see how a match director can make a decision or have the authority to allow shooters to violate a law for a match. As for Limited/Ltd 10, that debate has been around for a while. For me, I don't care if Ltd 10 stays or goes. With the USPSA rule, Ltd 10 should be disappearing sooner or later. Some may not like my opinion, oh well. BTW, I shoot mainly in Open ?
  13. Congratulations to both of you. ??
  14. al503 has it right on all the above. Only issue I ran into was the 9mm cases sometimes dropped in crooked from the case feeder into the tube and it block cases from dropping and filling the tube. On the case feeder for my Case Pro 100, there's some block of plastic. This one works with both 9mm and 38SC.
  15. It was a great match, again ? Thanks to all who made it happen.
  16. I have two Cameron's open guns. One built in 2013 and the other in 2014. Both still going strong. Love the attention to detail in these guns.
  17. Thanks Chuck. Hope to make it to St George early enough to get the ammo and function fire ?
  18. I was told by the airlines I'm flying on the limit was 11 lbs per passenger. We had to order ammo to shoot this match plus whatever we can check in with the airlines. Also shooting on Weds/Thurs so might see you there. Anyone know if there will be an open bay for function fire and to check my zero?
  19. Anyone know what vendors will be at the tent? Wouldn't mind placing an order ahead of time for pickup and save on shipping.
