  1. I usually go off the strippers. The time it works well is if you have to load a specific order of ammo in the middle of a stage. Prep it up on the side saddle and go straight down the side saddle.
  2. Nope lighten away to your hearts content
  3. A heavy trigger spring and a light striker spring doesnt alway allow the trigger to move forward enough to "set" the trigger safety
  4. Found a good deal on skate tape, 3 bucks for a skateboard sized sheet. Was a gracefull fall at least
  5. I looked through one and for me at least, the dots were making it cluttered.
  6. I like a bead better than anything. I have shouldered a gun with a dot and just didnt feel right. I come from a shotgun background though
  7. Not sure if it is a lone wolf but looks like it could be. I have used the lonewolf slide and had good luck with it. If you dont want the logo on the back of the lone wolf, order it blindmarked and it is a clean slide.
  8. usually every 6 k or so with ismi could go longer but just do it for piece of mind
  9. even the large 3 gun and pistol matches seem reasonable from what im use to.
  10. I just replace my springs on a regular basis
  11. Usually If I carry a Glock, I go with the 23 or the 17. I have tried the baby glocks and just didnt care for them. I carry usually IWB at about 5 oclock. in a Summer Comfort. I usually go the 23 rount if I do a glock. I also carry a 1911 either a 5 inch or a 3.5 inch in the same spot. Printing is pretty much minimal and is something I think would be pretty rare for the average person to even notice or pay attention to.
  12. check with guncat on here about getting it threaded. Also have you checked your pattern to see exactly where your gun is hitting. Centering the pattern on the target makes a big difference over a fringe hit
  13. Shouldnt be an issue. It is loaded long, with a very modest charge ie will not be major. Did you ever figure out what caused the glock to blow up? How did the glock blowup also ? Doublecharge? if so look into EVERY case before you seat the bullet to make sure the charge looks good. Was it bullet setback? My load calls for typically 4.6 of TG and a 180JHP to make major out of a 6 inch gun.
  14. Does your STI grip tape fit the STI aluminum grips, if so which of the grips
  15. try a new extractor spring and o ring. I use that on all my guns and never a problem with any ammo. It is also helpful on an SBR which is pretty violent and can cause the bolt to come back fast and pull the extractor off the rim. Never a problem with the oring in it
  16. I have a kit that is sealed in a pouch that I got from Buds that I keep with me in the bag. It is basically something to stop the bleeding if need be
  17. The safety may or may not need work it all depends. Your drop in stuff will not be as good as a fit set as they have to allow tolerence in the dropin for different guns. If your not really familiar with how to setup a trigger job or what to look for for safety, its best to send it off
  18. I have had the best luck with the the number 6 glock followers which are no longer made. they are narrower at the bottom and i havent had to tune them to get them to work. I have had luck with the 8s too after a little tuning
  19. For a trigger like your wanting, your really going to have to get a smith to do it for you. Freedomgunworks does a trigger job with new parts for 150. Well worth the extra money over a dropin.
  20. No just american skeet "shoot off doubles' which alot of time is where the event really begins
  21. carver makes a 9mm minor comp as well for 9mm
  22. I use red loctite on mine and use it just like a 1 piece
