  1. I have a 9mm spartan, grip tape on the front, VZ slim grips, Dawson arched MSH Gap mag well and tripp mags. With the steel guiderod, I am about 1/2 under the max weight.
  2. does anyone have the round count for the miami rifle and pistol march match
  3. I think for max capacity you want the extended base pads that more or less square up the bottom as the glock mags are pretty much longer in the back than the front which does aid in max capacity when the back is what is measured.
  4. I typically go for the nice shiny brass. Last batch came out great after it set there for like 12 hrs(fell asleep before it was done)
  5. the TF doesnt fit the gauge because the base pad is MUCH longer that the STI lenght they based it off of. The STI has a long tube and a fairly short basepad. The TF uses a much shorter glock mag and a very long basepad for the difference. I wonder how many 140 STI mags will be too long with the grip tape etc being so common on the bottom of he mags ie dawson tape. With a SNL I dont see how it could make the gauge
  6. from the BGSL website We are a go for tomorrow. We have a window tomorrow between 8am and 2pm. 30% chance of a showers. There will be a "few showers" and it will be wet in some bays. We will have 4 stages in Pit 1 due to the weather. We will start early and shoot quick! Be be early to help set up so we can get done before the thunderstorms around 2pm. Bring rain gear and boots. Garbage bags to cover guns. Cross your fingers for no rain!
  7. Loading long does help in the 9mm guns. Mine runs 1.135 which I use for the glock just fine as well. What recoil spring were you using?
  8. Production everything is minor SS if you start minor, you stay minor even if your using a major PF load.
  9. those guys look like pros compared to these guys. FULL of fail. Gets GREAT after the 4:30 mark
  10. What, who and where is JSC? Link? I need to reduce their inventory by one! Thanks Its a wholesaler, FFL sales only
  11. Either priority mail or registered mail here depending on the value.
  12. Comes with several different screws. Make sure to loctite it good so the screw dosent back out.
  13. Is anyone using the kydex holsters for open other than for 3gun? Looking to give open a try and just feel more comfortable with the kydex than the "race" holsters. Not 100% opposed to them and seen the retention videos locked etc but just not sure how comfortable I am with them in the unlocked position. Was planning on just getting a COM or cutting down a 6inch bladetech unless there is much reason to switch out.
  14. The mags sound fine. I usually just carry 1 extra pistol mag and throw an extra rifle mag in the back pocket as a backup. I do run a 45 rounder for the rifle but usually you can get by with a 30 on most stages without a reload. A shell bag would be better than pockets. The strippers are the best they need a little practice to get down right. Don't worry about looking like an idiot. We shoot with a fellow who seems to pull that off on a daily basis lol
  15. what will you be shooting with the gun USPSA or IDPA? For USPSA if you think you might switch divisions the CR speed pouches are the way to go as they have spacers so they can be used for a variety of guns. The safariland pouches are nice and very reasonable in price but are a 1 gun pouch. For the holsters you can't go wrong with the bladetech or the comptac
  16. That or a stock edge, eagle etc and have the trigger job done. You could also keep an eye on the forum classifieds as they have good deals come up on guns as well
  17. are we using the rifle range as well this month or just pits and bullseye?
  18. The trigger spring and Striker spring work against each other on the trigger moving forward. Like was alaredy said, move one back to stock
  19. The brass is the main reason Im looking at a 9mm major over the 38super. For me, its easier to just let the brass fly and not worry about it than searching for every piece of brass fired. I can get 9mm for dirt cheap and just shoot and not worry about it
