Wow.

The paint in painted grips tends to make them a little less "grippy" imo. I like grip tape if u really get the grip clean first. I also use pro-grip lotion as my hands tend to sweat and my grip on the gun suffers.

I have a bit of experience with this...yesterday I had to tell a father his 30 year old son comitted suicide. I don't know how many mothers, fathers, etc I have given news of the death of a loved one to...a whole bunch. It always sucks no matter how much you deal with it. My suggestions are to be sincere, simple and direct; ie: "I'm sorry for your loss." "I am here to help, if you need anything at all, don't hesitate to ask.", etc. DO NOT tell someone going through a traumatic loss that you know how they feel...even if you do, they won't believe anyone can ever feel as horrible as they do. You just have to be supportive and honest without being coming across as if you have been there or know what they are feeling. Good luck.

I have ordered a single case from manny twice in the last year. All it takes is an email and he will give u a price and then ship u whatver youd like with payment due when u receive the order. Doesnt get much better than that.

It always puzzles me when I read posts or threads wherein someone is maligning "gaming" a stage. Is this not a game? I mean really, aren't I, as the competitor, supposed to try to gain every advantage I can within the specified rules? Reminds me of a murder trial I testified in last year. The prosecutor asked me a question and the defense attorney did not like my answer as is was very very damning for his client. So the def atty objected, claiming my answer was prejudicing the jury against his client... The judge looked over at him and said, "That's the whole point of this trial counselor, the detective and the prosecutor are trying to prejudice the jury against your client. Objection overruled."

so internal opening of the magwell is ok? as long as its less than 1/4" of an inch of the size of the magazine THat's the way I understand it - i wonder if anyone's contacted John Amidon to get his interpretation? That's not what I read... 22.4 Magwell opening The longitudinal (front-to-back) dimension of the opening maybe more than 1/4” greater than the cor- responding dimension of a magazine. External flaring remains PROHIBITED. I read that as it is now permissible to flare the mag opening internally even if it is greater than 1/4" more than the mag dimension. No?

Lots of differences... Side indentations on STI are 2 narrow row-like indentations as opposed to a broader single indentation on SVIs. New SVI are designed for SVI grip frames and mag releases only and must be modified to work in STI's. The steel with which they are made is different, and I am sure there are more...

I'd look into buying tuned mags...my suggestion would be Freedom Gun Works. Less headaches and less cost long term, upfront cost just higher.

We have a case right now where a man beat his 3 year old son to death...kid was just mush. The kicker is we arrested the suspect's other son earlier this year because he beat his girlfriend's 3 month old to death. Just have to wonder what the F is wrong with people...

If Dan drives, you don't get there any faster ............... his speed is negated by the 7 times he gets pulled over & let go again! If I can make this, I can only take one passenger but we can get there waaay faster than Dan in my car...esp if all the local cops are stopped talking to Dan already.

Boy do we!!! Last year me, Flexmoney, Chad, and Texty McGee walked over to Roosters for wings & beer, then played lawn darts in the parking lot of the hotel with a 12 pack, until like 1am. I mean REAL lawn darts. The kind you can poke your eye out with! Then the cops showed up ............. I will make sure I attend any outings involving beer and lawn darts...
