Just a friendly reminder: Miami Rifle and Pistol Club's local match will be held this Sunday 9/25/11. 5 Stages of shooting fun, run by Dan Carter, his (not so) beautiful smiling face and the rest of the MRPC folks. Setup is Sat afternoon at 2 (we could use the help) and Sunday the shooters meeting is at 10.

Corey, The suggestions are good about getting fitted. There is usually a running store in every sity of any size and most will spend the time to fit you properly. The local running store here will let you take the shoes for a run and then return them if you don't like the fit. My suggestion for road shoes is Brooks. They are great for heavy runners. Trail shoes I can't recommend the Salomon Speedcross strongly enough. Not only are they are the best trail shoes I have ever tried, they are the best shoe to shoot in I have found. Colin

What a great match! Thanks to everyone for all their hard work putting together an outstanding match!!!! It was a great weekend. I have no idea how I managed to win the raffle gun and another gun Jake gave away to the staff. I am still in shock. Wish I shot a bit better, but such is life!

Now that's what I'm talking about...plenty of notice!!! On the calendar, I'll be there.

For those of us shooting Friday, how late might the range be open Thurs evening so I can glance over the stages? Just trying to figure out how early we need to be on the road.
