  1. I'm really surprised Dcarter didn't put in a plug for the Buckeye Challenge match, guess I will have to. End of the month in Milford, OH (near Cinti) great match to get your feet wet, experience a larger match and meet some great people.
  2. So if I order one for a plastic STI do I automatically get the short model until those run out or how does that work? (I'd prefer the short model)
  3. Adidas Turf Hogs. Lots of little semi-soft cleats make them the best all around shoes I have found. Not slippery on concrete or wood and outstanding for gravel or grass or mud... my .02
  4. Grams springs and followers with Dawson SNL pads will get you a reloadable 19 easily and 20 in some mags. Bolen springs and followers will get you 20 reloadable but your tubes will need to be tuned by someone who knows what they are doing for the Bolen stuff to work reliably.
  5. I couldn't agree more. First rate instruction and top notch guys to boot!!! Colin
  6. You guys seem to have gotten my name wrong?? Seriously, congrats to the winner. I am currently debating switching from my current setup to one of these, looking forward to some reviews.
  7. That he is...and a damn good shooter to boot.
  8. I always wear protection...(eyes and ears of course).
  9. Lido is my favorite beach in the area...often less crowded and absolutely gorgeous. St Armond's (sp) circle has lots of places to eat (I like Columbia's). Downtown Sarasota has really picked too up over the last few years, with lots of good places to eat, shop etc. Hope you have a great trip!
  10. There is a recess in the bottom of the SNL pads...if you seat the bolen spring into that recess, the basepad will go fully onto the tube and you can close the latching mechanism. May have to use needlenose to get the spring fully into the recess.
  11. Welcome! If you shot with Micah, I was on your squad at MRPC last week.
  12. Going up Sat evening and shooting Sunday works best for me (I work on Saturdays).
  13. I'm going...sending my app in next week. What day you gonna shoot? Colin
  14. Ever think maybe they recovered the gun with expended cartridges in it? Alan~^~ Bingo Soon...as Paul Harvey used to say, "The rest of the story."
  15. I bet your kids would never find the Easter eggs if you hid them at IWL in Oxford! By the way, I shot with Pharoh last week and I am only surprised by one thing...he doesn't look nearly that young... (He's listed in the results for Sunday's match on the USPSA website as a JR)
  16. So you know it has been waaaay too long since you attended a particular match when you cannot remember what time it starts...
  17. I'm an idiot...more than enough room. It was suggested (on this forum) to run the dillon sizer on the first station and the Lee U on the second...works well for me so far.
  18. I have read and searched till my eyes hurt and can't find a clear answer... I have an XL650 set up with Dillon sizer in the first station, LEE u-die in the second, powder at third, seating die in fourth, and crimp in last... I would like to add Redding micrometer seating die but can't simply replace my current seating die as the powder bar is in the way. Do I have to remove the lee u die and put the podwer drop back to the second station or is there something I am missing? Thanks, Colin
  19. Ok, so I get lost going to the bathroom. It doesn't make me a bad person. The good news is that if Dan writes you a ticket he may very well get the location wrong and you can get it DISMISSED!!! Oh, and welcome to BE!
  20. I watch that show, what's your name? Colin Vaughn
  21. I have played myself several times on the A&E series "The First 48"
  22. If you guys are interested, I will fill you in on what happened, etc as soon as I am able to tie it all up and arrest the murderer. I appreciate the help...this forum is an amazing resource.
