Truckin_Thumper
or Carry Optics if you want to just be bland about it. Since the bastard child of USPSA is starting to blossom pretty well, toss in some new gun rulings, and people making aftermarket stuff, there has to be some creative toys. I will start with this ugly sumbitch.... Non milled slide ---poors SP-01---- pretty close to poors SRO 5 MOA ---Not poors or True Open CGW internals ----not so poors Hennings basepads with nickle mags and Grams guts ----True Open fashion Nitro Fin by Shooting Sports Innov.---- Open Thumbrest not poors Wide CZC Safety ----2nd Open Thumbrest---not poors. I really like this division by the way. I have more fun doing this than Open. Cheaper too (hence Open Poors).

TrackCage
Idk, that's pretty spendy compared to my setup. Glock gen 3 Magpul mags (only one factory mag with extension) Brownells slide Holosun 507c
LuvDog
That’s far from an Opens Poors.

Wrecks
The nice thing about it being poor is you can buy a few of them Fire 4 Effect full package cut for SRO with Lok grips and Henning basepads CZC AccuShadow milled by CGW for Romeo 1, hard chromed by APW, and finished with the limited edition Henning rainbow grips. YVK
That's the first close up pics of F4E setup that I've seen. Thanks for posting, Wrecks. Looks like they machined for a removable insert that widens the base and allows for an adapter-less attachment.
nickforney
trying the SSI nitrofin deal now and have a redhill holster for it to go in. I like the way it shoots and hope it doesn't mess with draw etc later.

I think I do but I think that I must push the back of it at times and lever it on. dung
I have a CZ75B Omega Tactical that I would love to get into carry optics with. Are there any issues with using just the dovetail mount over getting the slide properly milled? When I checked with Primary arms it sounded like they can't get milled very deep anyways. How are the Romeo optics compared to the SRO? I am on the fence and leaning toward the 5moa SRO for my Shadow 2.
Wrecks
I haven't had the SRO long enough to give a great review on durability - I've only put about 500 down the pipe on it. It is a nice big glass but does have a bit more distortion than the Romeos. The Romeo on the S2 was great, went through 12,000 rounds with it and never had a hiccup. The Romeo on the S1 has been s#!t and I've replaced it 3 times already. Thankfully Sig has a good warranty program. If I were making recommendations I'd probably do the SRO on reputation and form factor, but you can't go wrong with either. hawaiifivebro
Didn't realize the nitrofin's were CO legal now for CZ's, do you lose slide lock with that?

They are legal for Production too, but it is about 1mm too wide, so alter it. If you mod the fin, it will infact lock the slide.
hawaiifivebro
Is it any worse fitting than a CGW trigger is, and how hard is it to mod?

For Production, the outside needs about 1.5mm taken off to fit in the box, nothing on the outside for CO. To use the actual slide lock, there is a lot of material that needs to come off the inside. Joedirt199
I would have bought a primary machine threaded barrel for my p09 but the stock barrel shoots so damn good. The p07 was another story. Primary machine barrel dialed that one in nicely.

The rail mount weight in front of it is my own. I made different sizes to tune. Mag well will finish it. Then I need a holster, Any ideas ? Hate to break the bank on a holster for a budget gun. Merry Xmas.
