I was lucky enough to find a used Springfield RO and some once used Wilson mags. Excited to shoot it.

Are any of the Bul 1911s SSTK legal? Correction, the 1911 Trophy Saw looks to have a bushing/ non-bill barrel.

I’ll jump in on this. Currently shoot a Shadow 1 worked over by CZC with their plate system and a DPP. Found a OR Shadow 2 locally for $1550. Is it worth the jump?

Following up from original post. Sticking with CZ platform at this point. Finally classified with CO as production gun was not running properly. Love the platform and now the practice needs to be more consistent. -
I shot the poor mans open last week, carry optics, due to a retaining pin issue. I like the dot a lot.

Had the same issue last match, except that missing chunk from the roll pin locked the firing pin in the channel. Justified my purchase of a backup.

I just picked up a CO pistol, CZ Shadow with DPP. Haven’t shot a match but I’m looking forward to it. In practice it is faster for me, and more magazine capacity. -
How do you like the dovetail mount? Shoot CO with it? Debating on the same.

I shot production sparingly last year, and I want to devote the time to learning and stage planning. i don’t currently have anything chambered in 40, and the cost of open is not in the cards.

Finally set up my 650. Hopefully I’ll start loading on it in the next week or so. Love it and haven’t even used it.
