CJW
This looks very helpful! Pat, is the goal to keep your head and eyes aligned with front sight/bead while you sweep (as opposed to shifting eyes ahead like you would do with a normal target transition)? P.E. Kelley
Eyes gotta move to pick up targets with any real speed. I would ask that you try the drill and notice what you see and do when you clean it several times.

coordinator
That looks like a good excercise to keep things in motion. I have been guilty of pausing on the targets. I've observed that my target aquisition is quicker, when swinging from right to left. Your coaching has always been appreciated. Thank you sir, for sharing. Religious Shooter
In what situations would this drill help you? Or in other words, with a pistol... rifle... or shotgun what type of challenges in a 3G match would this drill help you with?

adamge
Mr Kelley, it's IPSC time until next week. I've been using this drill on steel plates set up like a steel challenge course. Do you think this is a good drill for pistol?
P.E. Kelley
I use it for pistol too. If you are going to hit you have to really focus on trigger control.
