So the FENIX 124 9mm practice ammo was a consistent 142.5 PF out of 2 different 1911's with 5" barrels at 32*F

I just loaded 200 grain 40's, got 888 fps / 177 PF at 32* F. Same gun, same load would get me about a 170/172 at a summertime major match a few years back.

I just loaded up my 40 major loads after a few years of shooting open. I was surprised to see them at about 177 PF, on a 32* F day. Came here to "remember" if it was reverse temp sensitive. and now its coming back to me. I load them to make PF in the warm weather, when I would do most of my shooting ...... Is there a list, or can we put one together for companies that load ammo to uspsa power factor levels. If you needed ammo in a pinch, instead of reloading it. I understand the process of becoming certified, I'm talking about 40 and 9 major or 9 about 130/5 instead of factorylevels. 1) FENIX AMMUNITION

I have later generation models on 2 open guns and no issues, but not slide mounted. So I would guess that the fear is why people don't use them.

Any reason why I don't see the rts2 on CO guns but all the time on open guns? Do they not hold up to being slide mounted ???

I was once told to have a match slide stop and a practice one, or a major match one and an "all the other time" one . I had one snap on me at Area 5 years ago, but it was on my final shot of a stage. Used option 2 above for the 4/5 majors a year after that to minimize the potential damage done to an expensive match/trip.

Whats the difference and why would one prefer the 4 over the 5 if both available for sale???
