StraightUp_OG
It sucks so bad it makes Hardcore Pawn almost watchable. +1 I could barely stomach 15 minutes of the show. Never to be displayed on my flat screen again.
abn-rgr
I would have never thought she was 16 . They sure didn't look like that when I was 16? Shes 17 and they still didnt look like that. http://www.gunsmokeg...rican-guns.html The wife got the age from here: "Daughter Paige is a 16-year-old high school senior and works in the shop summers and nights/weekends. But don't let her looks fool you." I think the way they presented her for the show fooled a lot of folks. Everything Ive read on the blogs say 17, thats where I got it from. Who knows, she looks 20 to me!!

brianhansen
The daughter on the show is smokin't hot! She is in high school... Well Dan, at least we now know why your son hasn't been bringing any girls home to meet you.

bagdrag
Ignoring Rich Wyatt's history and Discovery's sexual exploitation of a minor, the show doesn't seem half-bad. Especially if Sons of Guns sets the standard. Admittedly, I believe it to be a very low standard.
lora
As much as it leaves a bad taste in my mouth, oopps, I think I did just throw-up a little. I prefer it over any of the wives, Jersey, or Cardashians, Crap. But, as a comparison, I feel as though they all rank in the bottom 5%-10%. I do appreciated the exposing of a shop that I can cross off my list of places to see.
Jon Merricks
I must be one of the odd ones. I like guns, shooting and seeing responsible owners on TV. Yeah I even like watching american hoggers. As long as they are not committing crimes or hurting anyone I think the more guns are on TV the better it is for us gun owners. Loves2Shoot
With the helicopter and stacks of cash and precious metals they haul around, there must be a heck of a lot of rich folks up there. That he appears to be stocking 15K+ revolvers, and he has laid down over 100K in bills for guns, they must be doing something right.

Do you really think a wealthy rancher who is into lever action cowboy guns would get excited about a 40lb .50 cal with a pink spray painted stock? Do you also not think that whole scenario was 100% made up for television? Heck, I wouldn't be surprised if the cash came from the TV producers. It could have even been prop cash just for the scene. No doubt that shop is successful, but this show is more scripted than a soap opera.
shootingchef
The "acting" is so bad it better be scripted. If you haven't already noticed, the proliferation of the "reality show" has turned into a bunch of badly produced, cheaply made, let's make fun of (less than smart) Stu%$d people. I can barely tolerate Top Shot, and I know it's scripted.
Dan Hefta
I have to agree with Jon, I like the show, it sure beats the hell out of Jersey Shore or those Repo dimwits. It's nice to see gun friendly TV shows on the air.

You just crushed my dreams of having a chopper on standby to get hot deals on gun collections that are being liquidated. Not to mention the plentiful bags of cash and precious metals at the ready, and magic Damascus knives that makes people knock 10K off their price to close a deal. Oh well. I am glad my staff actually knows how to do the jobs they are asked to do and I don't have to scold them to get things done right
TreblePlink
From Jeff Cooper's Commentaries: Jeff Cooper's Commentaries Previously Gunsite Gossip Vol. 8, No. 1 January, 2000 If you are having difficulty in getting hold of a Scout, note that Rich Wyatt, of "Gunsmoke" in Denver, can put one in your hands faster than most. Rich, who is not only a family member but a member of the Gunsite African Rifles, can tell you all about it. Jeff Cooper's Commentaries Previously Gunsite Gossip Vol. 8, No. 2 February, 2000 Incidentally, if you have not yet got your Scout, note that Rich Wyatt has it available in stock. Additionally, Rich Wyatt ("Gunsmoke," Custom Gunsmithing, Inc., 3650 Wadsworth Blvd., #A, Wheat Ridge, CO 80033, phone: 303−456−4545), can also put a Jeff Cooper trigger in your new gun, which is something the factory will not do. anachronism
I too, made it through about 15 minutes. The intent seems to be a show that is part "American Pickers", part "American Restoration", and part "Red Jacket". I pretty much disliked the guy on sight, and made it about another ten minutes before bailing. What a greedy SOB! Guys like that give all small businessmen bad names. Bryan 45
As an employer, I would hope if I ever treated my guys like Rich treated the real big guy building the hand cannon, they would punch me in the nose- BECAUSE I WOULD DESERVE IT. No class. And what was with the porn star buying a 1911? She just happened to be in Colorado at the time, deciding to buy a gun???

midget
Anyone else find it hilarious that the "Scout rifle" they built is actually a crappier version of the SA M1A Socom?
2alpha
I told myself I wouldn't watch it again, but the hand cannon sounded kind of interesting, I should have known better. The Master Gunsmith (likely a member of Mealteam6) who tells the boss the octagon TC barrel they are scabbing to make the hand cannon won't fit the hole in the brass because that's the biggest drill bit they had. OMG That's so bad on so many levels where do you start? It would be funny if not pathetic. I think the profession of gunsmithing took another hit on this show. ima45dv8
The daughter is hotter than a $2 pistol (Hey! I can look!!! No law against it! Especially when she puts it out there in HD...who am I to say NO?). Please don't ever attribute innocence to her. She and/or her "daddy" know exactly what the deal is. Pimps, one and all... All that being said...I've deleted them from my DRV listing. The daddy is a worthless &^%(*&)((t from what I've learned through Goggle, and the show is paramount to Pro-Wrestling.
