  1. Please see the link below for detail about the match hotel. The highlights are as follows: 39 rooms available for contestants on a first come first serve basis ranging in price from $69.50 to $99.50 depending on what they pick or what is left. Competitors must call in and indicate they are with Generation 3 Continental breakfast open at 5:30AM. Indoor pool/hot tub, outdoor pool and patio areas will be all GIIIG, no other guests. The location is fantastic, the hotel backs up to the outlet mall, has 8 restaurants within walking distance and several more within a mile or 2. Match Staff rooms are already booked. http://www.quailsnest.com/
  2. Hey shooters, Jesse wanted me to let you know that he's been banned from the forum. So the information overload you are used to seeing on here from him is going to cease. Please follow us on Facebook for updates. Thanks!

  5. Barry all will be made clear when you get here and get the stage brief. The quick answer is if your gun only holds eight rounds you can have the ninth round staged on the barrel. What you do with it after the buzzer goes off is not our concern

  7. Squadding will be sent out the day after Labor day. I know this upsets a lot of people but you have to understand how many last-minute squad requests we get. We want to make sure everyone shoots with who they want if at all possible. You would be amazed at how many people send in squad requests for people that aren't even coming to the match. Its one of the biggest nightmares about putting on a match. Schedule will be sent out that same day. We will have registration at the range on Thursday as well as the match hotel later Thursday. We will also have registration Friday at the range at the stat shack. I'm looking forward to seeing everybody and hope you enjoy all of the hard work that goes into this!!!
  8. Note to competitors. You will need a rifle sling for one stage and 10 rounds of buckshot (minimum) for the same stage! This one is shaping up to be a goodun! We will have stage descriptions out two weeks before the match. I apologize for this but I shoot as well and have been hard at it for a few weeks. After Pro AM I am I will be at the range every day until the match so suck it up!!! Hope everyone is looking forward to it!
  9. Trying to sign my daughter up and it says JR is 21 and under per IPSC age category rules. They dropped that to 18. Will Juniors still be 21 and under? Just curious.
  10. Someone explain to me how a Junior who doesn't have a tactical belly can hold 50 rounds without using a vest??? Will the 50 round stage be non IPSC??
  11. When you register write on the application that you were one of the shooters who received a free slot to this years match. We will check it against the list and get you squared away.
  12. I want to apologize for what happened at the price table last night. I'm not a big fan of putting prizes in bags because the sponsors like for everybody to see what they've donated. The way we had the table laid out the piles were way too close together and some people took it upon themselves to grab two piles instead of one. I hope everybody's okay with the free entry into next years match for the those that didn't get to walk. I'm still completely amazed that the raffle guns were given away to the junior shooters who picked the names of the winners. Class act all the way! Thanks again for all the comments both good and bad about the match it will be bigger and better next year!
  13. If anyone wants to see the funniest video from any match remind me. Guys putting the slug target on the lake. Trust me. I almost puked from laughing when i filmed it.
  14. I was ROing stage two with my daughter. We were told not to paint steel. Not sure why.,,,,oh yeah, might have been the other 3 stages shooting in the same direction. ROs dont just make this stuff up as they go.
  15. Bring lots of tick spray. I think the 82nd seed tick airborne division did a mass tactical jump on me today!!!
  16. Stages are all set and we have some range officers getting ready to shoot this morning. Who's ready for some three gun!!
  17. The range officers that are running that stage also set up the stage. I am sure that they will make every shooter start in the same position.
