Jon Merricks Posted January 9, 2004 Share Posted January 9, 2004 I'm starting off with SC Section and Area 6 in April, Summer Blast in June, Area 8 in July, GA Section whenever that is, NC Section if we have one. It's about an hour north of Atlanta, as opposed to South River where the match has been held the last couple of years, which is about an hour southeast of Atlanta. I have tentative plans to attend the following matches in 2004: Florida Open - February 20th - 22nd Florida State - April 3rd - 4th Area 6 Championship - April 30th - May 2nd Summer Blast - June 10th - 13th United States Handgun Nationals - September 12th - 18th Mississippi Classic - October 8th - 10th I will also attend the Alabama, South Carolina, and Georgia State matches. We (GA Section) are currently hashing out dates for this year's Georgia State match. It looks as if we are going to Cherokee Gun Club (2000 host) and a half day format (9 stages.) SO far it looks like its just going to be northern CA section, A1 in reno, then A2 in mesa. Might hit up the cascade section and the crazy croc do know when they are yet. This year Area 5 has finally returned to AMERICA , so I will be shooting it for the first time since 1997. I'll probably also shoot the Kentucky USPSA match again (same range as Area 5 in southern Indiana... Silver Creek) and the Indiana USPSA match. I'd also like to shoot the annual Single Stack match they hold at the Angola, IN club. I doubt if I'll do any big IDPA matches this year, but I may change my mind as the time approaches. Friday, I'll be at the Summer Blast; Sunday I'll be running my club match, Thursday I'd have to leave for Ohio...)
