  1. yeah haven't been shooting much..family keeping me busy. When I do get some free time i end up working on the Toyota rock crawler. I'll be at Richmond this sunday.
  2. Way to go Erik!! I haven't been on The BE forum in a long while, (I haven't done much shooting either) but when I saw your name in Front Sight, I decided to pay a visit and offer my congratulations. Now you just have to get that open percentage to match the title.
  3. Im going to be in the Pujet Sound area the weekend of the 13th visiting family. Looking at the northwest section sight there is a match at the paul bunyan club? IS this a good club match? anyone shoot this club? how is the match run? Do they have good stages and good props? howmany stages/round count looks like they have alot of highly ranked shooters. I'll be staying near Bremerton about how long would it take to get there. Just looking at the map really quick is say at least and hour and a half. Basicaly is it worth hauling all my crap on the plane with me and driving all the way out there?
  4. I did that once. Same situation. The month started on a sunday and threw the whole rotation off.
  5. while this is on my mind...I wonder what USPSA is going to do about the HHF or if this has even come to their attention? A bunch of people allready shot the stage whith the wrong diagram which was easier. This deffinantly thorws the HHF if all the "easy version" scores are not removed.
  6. we have this classifier schedualed for our next match...does anyone know if the diagram has been updated? eduhit: i just looked at the uspsa page and they have a "updated on" colum now. A few of them including this one were updated on 4-21-05
  7. TASC will be holding a USPSA special classifer match on Saturday May 14th, at Chabot Gun Club, in CastroValley,CA TASC webpage for more info and directions.
  8. naw. it had these cheapies on it shown here the thing got knocked over and impacted the shaft that spins. Bolth bearings broke out of their housings.
  9. I think I found what I want in the Grainger catalogue but they want close to $30 a peice. I'd have almost half the value of the prop going into repair parts. bearing Not much need for a tractor parts store in the heart of Silicon Valley
  10. Hey all, I got as texas windmill in need of repair. The thing fell and busted the two bearings mounts that the center shaft spins on. I'm having a hard time finding something local to replace them with. (ok, I havent tried that hard.) For those unfamialr with the set up. Its just like a swinger. a 3/4'' shaft piviots on two bearing supports that are attached to plate steel. I need to find replacement bearing supports. I tried Home Depot and OSH but thats about it. Any suggestions? I rather not get them form the manufacturer of the windmill as the bearings used were rather flimsy. I want somthing stonger like the bearings used on the MGM movers or the R&R racing movers. Thanks for the help
  11. I've been called evil a few times. Mostly for "creative" stage desgins.
  12. I did shirts for a aprox 80 shooter match. The guy that did the shirts for my match had the same price per shirt XS to XXXXXL?!? I ordered 2 m, 12 L, 16Xl 12XXL and 2 3xl 44total Flex, my guy neded 1 month lead time complete the shirts. I Just incorperated the T-shirt deadline in my match flyer. At the deadline I ordered what sizes people requested and threw in about a dozen or so extra proportionatly to what was requested. We ended up selling pretty much all the shirts and made a profit. I think the key is to keep is simple and only have one shirt type and desgin. I know some people like polos and others like T's but trying to anticipate what people want will be way to hard and you may get stuck with alot of shirts left over.
  13. HAH! comming form a guy that has half a dozen blue press covers pinned to the wall in his garrage.
  14. someone come mug me... I have no gun, no knife and no flashlight in my pants. I can throw my keys in your generial direction and try to run a way. thats about it . LF keys and change RF cell phone LR empty RR wallet
  15. I dont have alot of experience with tires in the snow, but i do know that mud tires suck on snow covered pavement. A/T tires are probably the best choice aside from a dedicated snow tire. The siping in the tire is what gives the traction. All the fine lines in the tread blocks provide a bite edge as apposed to a mud tire that has large lugs that just have one edge. best bet is to talk to your local tire guy.
  16. I found that on my STI limited gun the cause was that the hole for the main spring pin on the main spring housing had become elongated.
  17. did you try 4x4 low? sounds like your truck needs a set of locking differentials and some good mud tires goodyear wrangler mt/r are my fav
  18. does anyone have any good open scores to compair to?
  19. its my understanfing that if we run a level II we won't get Slots for the nationals as well as the match as a whole won't count for classification.
  20. I doubt there is that many in the state let alone the section to cover an 8 stage match. Also that would contradict the old rule book tournament status that said "at least one certifed CRO to oversee the match"
